Glossybox – August 2018: Pride

This month’s Glossybox is a very special themed box to celebrate and support Pride which I’m thrilled about! Inside, there are six full-size products which have been included to allow you to express yourself in new ways and explore your own creativity, so it’s definitely a fun, festival style box!

The box lid itself has had a beautiful makeover just for August with the well-known symbol of Pride, a gorgeous rainbow that represents diversity and self-expression. I know that I’ll be re-using this one to store my beauty bits and bobs in, but first, let’s take a look at what’s inside your Glossybox this month.

Rimmel London Ink Me Stamp & Sticker Tattoos (RRP £4.99 each)

To get you in the mood for all the fun of the Pride festivals, there is a sheet of cool Sticker Tattoos in classic designs from Rimmel London. These are all waterproof and have a gorgeous golden metallic shine to them which really looks amazing with a tan! Each tattoo lasts for up to 4 days so that you can party all weekend long.

To accompany the tattoos, there’s also an Ink Me Stamp in a heart-shape to help you celebrate #LoveIsLove. It has an intense, black matte pigment and is handbag sized so that you can ink all your friends too.

Victoria’s Secret Pink Let’s Pre-Glam Perfecting Sheet Mask (RRP £4)

Before you head off to your nearest Pride event, make sure to use this Pre-Glam Perfecting Sheet Mask from Victoria’s Secret to ensure that your skin is in tip-top condition and ready to party. This mask hugs the face like a second skin and is infused with Hyaluronic Acid to plump it up and give it a boost. It creates the perfect flawless base for your makeup in just 15 minutes – what’s not to love?

Trifle Cosmetics Lip & Cheek Jam (RRP £17.50)

Worth £17.50 on its own, this Trifle Cosmetics Lip & Cheek Jam is a beauty fan’s dream come true because you can use it to add a pop of colour to your cheeks and lips, saving you lots of room in your clutch or makeup bag. The 99% natural formula is 78% water based so it’s easy to use and blend, plus it lasts for up to 10 hours on the skin. Cruelty-free and vegan-friendly, I absolutely love this!

Kaleido Cosmetics Astrolight Highlighter (RRP £13)

Get your glow on with this gorgeous Astrolight Highlighter from Kaleido Cosmetics. Cruelty-free and suitable for vegans, this creamy illuminating highlighter is a party/festival must-have and is super easy to use. Just dab a little onto the tops of the cheeks and blend for an instant glowy look. Alternatively, you can mix it with your favourite foundation for an all-over angelic finish.

3INA The Shadow Paint 703 (RRP £8.95)

The last product in this month’s Glossybox is something that is definitely going to push you out of your comfort zone – it’s a cream blue eyeshadow! Cruelty-free, this midnight blue eyeshadow is highly pigmented, long-lasting and waterproof. Apply it all over the lids for an out-there party look or if you want something a bit more subtle, but still fun, use a small amount on an eyeliner brush to create a flick of colour to your lower lashlines. Bring on the festivities!

Our score: 9.8/ 10

This is one of my favourite boxes from Glossybox this year so far - the products are all brilliant and I love the fact that they are all full-sized so great value for money!
