Looking for an eco-friendly lifestyle subscription box that helps to support charities and small independent artisans across the UK and Europe? Greenecobox is the box for you!
Each month you’ll receive a surprise selection of lifestyle products that have been carefully hand-chosen for a wide variety of artisans that Greenecobox works with. You can expect food, beauty and eco-friendly lifestyle products and the quality is always fantastic too.
In addition to the products, Greenecobox also donates to two different campaigns/charities every month on your behalf with the purchase of each Bee Happy Box. This month’s chosen projects are OneTreePlanted (one tree will be planted for you in Quebec and you’ll receive a certificate of proof in your box), and €4 will be donated to Spring For The Swallows who are based in France and help to create nesting boxes to improve the numbers of Swallows who are at risk from loss of habitat.
This month’s Greenecobox Bee Happy Box arrived a few days ago, so let’s see what’s inside, shall we?
Pfister Chocolatier Switzerland Chocolate Bunny
To mark the occasion of Easter, Greenecobox has included a delicious Chocolate Bunny which is made by the Swiss Chocolatiers Pfister. Founded in 1951, Pfister uses only the finest ingredients to make their decadent chocolate and source their cocoa responsibly from farmers in Ecuador. The bunny arrived a bit broken during transit but it tasted amazing nonetheless!
Bellezini Bruschetta
Straight from Italy, there’s a jar of authentic handmade Bruschetta from Bellezini. This classic spread for Italian bread can be enjoyed in so many different ways and it’s packed full of the freshest natural ingredients with a blend of flavours that gives this bruschetta is an extra special touch. It’s delicious!
Lapp & Fao Mister Cinnamon Syrup
Next up, I found a large glass bottle of Mister Cinnamon Syrup from the German artisans Lapp & Fao. Made with real Ceylon Cinnamon and refined with the finest Tahitian Vanilla, this syrup can be drizzled onto waffles, pancakes, over porridge, granola and fruit, or added to coffees and teas as a little treat.
Rossenrot Organic Coconut Sea Salt Shampoo Bar
If you’re looking to reduce your plastic consumption, switching your regular shampoo to a shampoo bar is one easy way to do this. This wonderful organic shampoo from the German green beauty company Rosenrot is perfect for all hair types and it will add lots of shine and nourishment to your scalp. It smells very fresh and lemony which I love.
Plants Rock Basil Growing Kit
The last product is very interesting indeed – it’s a Plants Rock Basil Growing Kit! This ready to grow kit contains potting soil and seeds so that you can grow your very own basil at home in a stone ceramic pot. All you need to do is add water, sow the seeds and then place a bright warm place where the seeds will start to germinate in 7-14 days. How cool is that?!
Greenecobox like to include a little packet of extras in each box and this time around I found two teabags from Higher Living Organic Tea, an artisan Cafe-Tasse chocolate and an organic and fairtrade Cacao Truffle :)
