The Gootea Box is the latest box to be developed by the eco-friendly team over at Greenecobox. As a subscriber to Gootea, you can expect to receive a delicious selection of artisan tea and biscuits to encourage you to meet up with your friends and enjoy a catch up over some tasty treats!
I really love this concept and think it’s something that we can all benefit from, as seeing our friends and family on a more regular basis can boost our mental health and overall wellbeing.
As an extra feel-good factor, Greenecobox also donates to two different campaigns/charities on your behalf with the purchase of each box. This month’s chosen projects are OneTreePlanted (one tree will be planted for you on behalf of the Trees For The Orca Project) and you’ll receive a certificate of proof in your box, and €1 will be donated to Koalas In Care Inc to help support the koala rescue teams who are dealing with the devastating fires that have happened recently in Australia.
Here’s what I found inside this month’s Gootea box:-
Thé Noir Earl Grey Tea
January’s specially selected loose leaf tea is called Thé Noir Earl Grey which features an exceptional blend of the finest Ceylon Black Tea, Bergamot and Vanilla. The result is a whole and rich full-bodied black tea with the freshness of Bergamot and the sweetness of Vanilla – it’s delicious, to say the least! All of the ingredients come from organically certified plantations in Sri Lanka and it’s also certified Fairtrade as well which is great to see.
Viennese Chocolate Shortbread and Couronnes Citron Biscuits
To accompany your tea, there are two boxes of handmade French biscuits to enjoy. These are Viennese Chocolate Shortbread and Couronnes Citron, the latter of which are small lemon cookies with a crunchy texture. I enjoyed sharing both these and the tea this month!
P.S There were also two fairtrade Cacao Truffles to savour – yum :)
