With pet subscription boxes it’s often our furry darlings that get all the goodies, but Gus & Bella has treats for both your cat and you!
Every month they send an assortment of goodies to delight everyone in the home. This month we are celebrating the summer with the Seaside Dreams box.
It’s always beautifully presented, and there’s a leaflet that tells you all about the items inside. There are toys, yummy things to eat for both cat and owner, and themed items for the home that are both useful and attractive .
Blink Cat Food is one of the best brands of cat food on the market. It’s 100% meat and broth, absolutely no fillers or additives, and come in these extremely handy pouches. The fish is responsibly sourced, the meat is all from British farms, and they also offer a subscription service. And I should also add that given my cat’s enthusiasm for it, it’s extremely delicious. So much so that she has been known to steal and chew open these pouches by herself! So I recommend you keep them out of reach because if you cat is anything like mine she’ll go crazy for this stuff.
Another lovely treat for kitty, these are little individual pouches with a creamy filling. Made with natural ingredients, they can be used as a treat or a topping for food, and they can even be frozen in hot weather as a cooling treat. Ice pops for cats, very fancy!
Toy time. Cats love to play with moving objects, and this felted wool fish and pole toy from independent brand Mimi’s Daughters is ideal for these games. The felted wool is a great texture and easy on paws and teeth, and cats love to chase the waving toy.
There’s also an adorable catnip-filled pineapple toy which are always exciting to play with.
On to the owners’ treats! First a Swizzels Drumstick Squashies Slush Pouch. These pouches are designed to be frozen and create a lovely slushy texture, great for a hot day. The flavour of Drumstick sweets will take you straight back to childhood, but if you’re feeling slightly more grownup these slushies are rather nice as a cocktail base!
Also included is a set of eight paper cups decorated with adorable cat illustrations. Very useful for a barbecue or a picnic, they’re recyclable so eco-friendly and convenient.
This microfibre beach & travel towel has been made especially for Gus & Bella! The towel is a great size for summer trips, large enough to use properly but nice and compact so it doesn’t take up too much space. The microfibre means that it is fast drying and quite light and thin, but it’s still very efficient for when you get out of the water. The design I super cute as well, all those cats with different expressions and poses, and even the light blue colour feels summery! A really handy item to take away with you.
