Summer is here, and we’ve got a holiday treat in store from Gus & Bella, the monthly box of goodies for cats and their humans!
The box is so nicely presented, from the tissue wrapping with cat mascot sticker to the menu sheet that tells you about the items inside. Cat food is always included, and it’s very useful to know about the featured brand, which are always high quality and often less familiar than the typical supermarket brands.
One lot of kitty treats, two packs of Prochoice Grain Free Wet Cat Food. This is really lovely food made with actual meat and no fillers or flavourings or any of that nonsense that cats don’t need.
There’s also a Tropical Fruit Cat Toy to get you, or rather your cat, in the summery holiday vibe! It’s got a real feather attached, dangling arms and legs of the little lemon figure, and it’s infused with catnip.
Here’s also a bag of Tasty Tuna Pillows cat treats. These are crunchy with a soft tuna filling, and a nice small size in a generous quantity! If you have one of those toys that dispense threats, these are also the perfect size for one of those. There’s another cat toy, summer-themed again, a Handmade Fur-eeeze Pop Catnip Toy which has been handmade and filled with high-grade super potent catnip, which should ensure some very enthusiastic play!
On t the people treats. There an adorable Meow Passport Case, which is the perfect way to protect your passport with just a bit of whimsy, as the holder features a cute fun cat illustration. Also included is a Whimsical Black Cat Sunglasses Case. Now this is super useful, because often sunglasses, especially the cheaper ones, don’t come with their own case. This case is really properly sturdy, and there’s plenty of space in it even if you glasses are the bulkier kind! Plus the design is very cute indeed. Lastly there’s a pack of Olly’s Pretzel Thins Sour Cream & Onion. I’m a huge fan of savoury snacks – though I love the sweet ones in Gus & Bella boxes too! – and these are really yummy and crunchy, just right for enjoying in the sun with a cold beer.
The last people treat is this fantastic Stretchy Cat Beach Bag. The stretchy thing does actually refer to the design of cats stretching, though I was initially confused as it’s actually made from canvas and not at all stretchy! But it’s a really fantastic bag. It’s a really good size (the glasses case is there for scale) and there’s a little inner slip pocket plus, pleasingly, it actually zips closed! I adore tote bags and have many of them, but it can be annoying when they are just open at the top. This one closes up, which is incredibly useful, and there’s plenty of space to pack gear for the day or just as a shopping bag. The cute design has been done especially for Gus & Bella, so you really are getting something unique as well as practical.
