Gus & Bella is a gorgeous box full of goodies for both cats and their owners, so you get to treat yourself as well as your cat. Love is in the air in February, and there’s no reason why we can’t show our cats just how much we love them with this month’s Love Cats box!
The presentation is so lovely, and I adore the little sticker which shows the titular characters snuggled up lovingly. (Gus & Bella frequently change up their sticker designs according to the season, which is a really nice little detail.)
Inside is a menu leaflet that tells you about the items inside, and usually a discount code as well; this month it’s for HiLife cat food, which is superb quality. They also frequently contain items from small companies, and I think it’s terrific they support small independent businesses like this.
This cool item was actually too big to fit in the box, so it was just placed in the mailing bag with the box. It’s a 3-Way Foldable Cat Play Tunnel and it’s really cool. As well as three entrances, there’s also a hole in the top at the junction to pounce in or escape out of, or even drop another toy in, and one of the entrances there is a hanging ball to bat around. The whole thing folds down flat with an elastic band to keep it together. This is much more fun than your average tube play tunnel!
Treats! Both these are from HiLife (there’s that discount code too). There’s a bag of 100% chicken breast treats, dried pieces that my cat goes absolutely nuts for. Being all meat they are the best quality you can get, no fillers, sugar, or cereal, none of which cats are meant to eat! The pouch is the tuna variety of wet food, and again, totally grain free and only natural ingredients. This is superb cat food.
There’s a treat for the owner here, a pack of Wild Strawberry Candy Kittens. These sweets are yummy fizzy gummies, and are made with natural colours and flavours. Very tasty indeed. There’s also a cute heart-shaped catnip cat toy for kitty to play with, maybe chasing around that tunnel!
Wearables here for both cat and owner. Kitty has this sweet floral cat bandana which even has a little bell so you know where she is. The clasp is also of the safe breakaway type, so if it gets caught on anything it will pop open without harming your cat, just like a regular collar.
For us humans we get a cute beanie hat with an exclusively-designed ‘meow’ embroidery. I love the bold red colour, and seeing as the weather is still very chilly this is something that will get a lot of use!
Finally, a gift bag designed by artist Kim Haskins. The box leaflet actually lists another stationery item, a greeting card (also cat-themed) but I love this gift bag! The design is so funny and quirky, and I think gift bags are incredibly useful. This is a great addition to my gift-wrapping supplies.
Modelling the bandana!
