Gus & Bella, the subscription box for cats and their humans, have cooked up something special for Halloween – Feline Spooky ’23!
There’s the usual box of treats for both kitty and owner, but it actually arrived in a larger mailing bag than usual because there’s an extra-large treat inside, which you’ll see.
It’s all packed up beautifully, and there’s a menu card that tells you all about what’s inside the box.
For your feline friend, there are two packs of Harringtons Wet Cat Food. This is an excellent premium brand, it’s all natural high quality and contains no artificial flavours, colours or wheat. This is definitely a treat! There’s also a super cute Glow in the Dark ‘Skelicat’ Catnip Toy, which is perfect for late night play sessions.
The first human treat is a yummy pack of Popcorn Shed Butterscotch Popcorn. This is a real gourmet treat, super crunchy with a wonderful flavour. There’s also some Halloween fun with a Black Cat & Pumpkin Halloween Balloon, and they’ve even included and Ballooin Pump and Straw so you can easily blow it up. As it’s near the beginning of the month I’m going to save mine until we get closer to Halloween, but it looks like a brilliant fun decoration for Halloween! Though of course I’ll have to keep it well away from sharp claws!
More human treats! As a complement to the balloon, they’ve gone into Halloween party supplies mode with a fun set of Halloween Paper Straws. They’re striped black and white (like a witch’s legs!) and have decorative cutouts to attach for maximum festive effect.
Now something that’s really luxurious, a pair of Black Faux Fur Lined Gloves. These really are super cute as well as being incredibly warm and soft. They have an adorable cat nose and whiskers pattern on them that his subtle but incredibly cute. These really are a brilliant treat!
Finally, a touch of furry luxury for kitty – a Luxury Doughnut Cat Bed! This was the extra item in the mailing bag. It was cleverly vacuum packed so it didn’t take up that much room, but as soon as I opened it up it plumped out beautifully. It’s a really gorgeous bed, the fur is really plushy and long, the middle is cushioned as well, and it’s the perfect shape for kitty to curl up in.
In typical cat fashion, my kitty has not yet allowed me to photograph her lying in it. But judging my the white fluff I’ve found, she’s definitely been trying it out!
