It’s nearly February, and we all know what this month means: Valentine’s Day! And Gus & Bella has a lovely surprise for us in the Smitten Kitten box of goodies for cats and their humans.
The box is beautifully packed, and surprisingly heavy this month! There’s also a menu leaflet that tells you about the items inside.
First of all, goodies for kitty. The Stayfresh Litter Freshener could be considered a gift for owners, as it’s definitely more for their comfort than the actual user of the litter tray! But either way is a very useful item, especially in the colder weather when kitty might be less likely to go outside.
There’s also an adorable Crochet Kitty Catnip Heart Toy. This lovely catnip-stuffed heart looks exactly like those heart-shaped candies that are fun to give to loved ones. And catnip is definitely as much of a treat to cats as candy is to humans!
For a special meal (or two), there are two cans of HiLife Adult Complete Cat Food. This brand is a complete food which doesn’t contain any fillers or unnecessary additives. The HiLife Freeze Dried Treats are exactly like they sound. 100% chicken freeze-dried, super high quality, and judging by my cat’s reaction to them, extremely delicious and very healthy.
Moving on to the people treats, we have a cute Pusheen Cupcake Gift Bag. Pusheen is such an adorable character, it’s always fun to find one of her items in a Gus & Bella box. There’s also two Yin Yang Cats Keychains. This adorable pair actually slot together to form the famous Yin-Yang shape. A very cute couple accessory! Next on the gift list as a I Meow You Gift Card, which is perfect as a Valentine’s card or even just for somebody you love. And of course it wouldn’t be a Gus & Bella box without a sweet treat for the human, two caramel-filled chocolate hearts.
Now, I was wondering why the box was so heavy this month. Usually it’s because of something like a candle or mug. But not this time.
It’s an absolutely gorgeous Large Cashmere Feel Winter Scarf! This beautiful scarf is decorated with an adorable cat motif. It has a fringe, and it’s one of those lovely thick scarves that’s almost like a blanket. You can wrap it or drape it, and it’s incredibly soft too. It’s great timing too, given the cold and windy weather has really hit the UK hard recently, so there’s no chance of being anything but cosy with this scarf around your neck!
