I’ve been a bookworm all my life so I always look forward to discovering new book-related subscription boxes, especially those which come with a couple of added extras! I was recently introduced to the Happily Ever After Book Box which is a new small business.
Delivered to your door, each month you’ll receive a brand new book along with some vegan-friendly snacks and/or pamper treats, depending on which subscription option that you pick. Costing just £10, plus £3 P&P per month, it’s an affordable gift for a fellow bookworm or lovely treat for yourself!
Here’s what I discovered in my Happily Ever After Book Box this month:-
Book: The Flavours Of Love by Dorothy Koomson
When you sign up, you can either choose a book from the website’s ‘Hot List’ at the start of the month, or pick a genre and be surprised. All of the books featured are highly rated and I think the surprise option is a fun way to find a new read that you perhaps wouldn’t have come across by yourself.
I’m really looking forward to reading this book by Dorothy Koomson as she’s an author that I’ve heard of, but not yet read anything by and the story looks like a good mix of suspense thriller and romance.
Pampering Treat: Gardenia Tin Candle
I absolutely love this beautiful Gardenia Tin Candle which has a gorgeous floral fragrance – perfect for Summer! I’ll definitely be reusing the tin afterwards too.
Vegan Snack: Doisy & Dam Dark Chocolate Drops
As mentioned earlier, all of the food that you’ll find inside the Happily Ever Book Boxes are vegan-friendly which is great to see and these Doisy & Dam Dark Chocolate Drops really hit the spot when you want something to satisfy your sweet tooth! They are like vegan Smarties ;)
Herbal Tea & Bookmark
To complete the box, I was delighted to find two herbal tea bags from Pukka and a lovely daisy illustrated bookmark.
