The Secret Garden Gins
Founded in 2017, The Secret Garden Distillery was founded by Hamish Martin, a former wine merchant and herbologist. Marrying together his two loves of creating unique drinks infused with herbs, he resurrected a derelict 7.5 acre plot of land at the foot of the Pentland Hills in Edinburgh and the distillery was born.
Using a 100% natural recipe, all The Secret Garden gins are made with no added sugars, artificial flavourings, colourings or additives. Here you can try two of their gins; the Elderflower & Jasmine Gin which is wonderfully floral and sweet, and the Lemon Verbena Gin which is refreshing and naturally zesty in flavour.
Mixers
For mixers this month, there’s a bottle of Lamb & Watt Original Tonic Water which is made with natural ingredients and uses organic agave and spring water derived from the Lake District to create a pure and crisp tonic companion to your gin. For something different but still natural and very English, you can try the Belvoir Sparkling Elderflower drink which pairs very well with the Elderflower & Jasmine Gin above to bring out all that floral flavour.
