This month’s I Love Gin box is themed The Zesty Citrus Box and features two artisan mini bottles of gin, plus two mixers/tonics to go with them.
I always look forward to receiving the I Love Gin Boxes as they are such a fun way to try out new gins that you may not have come across before, and it’s always a brilliant excuse to invite a friend over to kickstart the weekend!
Here’s what’s inside:-
6 O’Clock Gin London Dry (50ml / 43% vol)
Elegant, crisp and refreshing, 6 O’Clock artisan gin is a classic London Dry handcrafted in small batches. Made using traditional skills and only the best natural ingredients, I was instantly drawn to this gin when I opened the box thanks to its iconic Bristol-blue glass bottle. An award winner that has been made since 2010, London Dry is wonderfully smooth with a soft citrusy flavour that combines botanicals such as Juniper, Coriander, Angelica Root, Orris Root, Winter Savoury, Elderflower and Orange Peel. A must-try!
Ginato Clementino Gin (50ml / 43% vol)
By contrast the Ginato Clementino Gin is a bright and vibrant gin made with Nebbiolo grapes, Italian Clementine Oranges and Tuscan Juniper Berries. Crafted at the Ginato distillery in Ravenna in Northern Italy, this business has been operating for over 50 years and has a very rich history and culture attached to it. A gin to remind you of the warmer Spring days to come.
