Look away if you’re doing Dry January because the latest box from I Love Gin is here and it’s intent on spreading some New Year cheer!
I Love Gin is a monthly subscription box where you can expect to receive two mini bottles of artisan gin, plus two bottles of tonics/mixers to go with them. It’s a great way to try out something new and is a must-have for fellow gin lovers!
Here’s what’s inside the January box:-
City Of London Distillery Six Bells Lemon Gin (50cl / 41.3% vol)
Producer of multi-award-winning gins, the City Of London Distillery brought the tradition of distilling back into London in 2012, after its absence of nearly 200 years. They have a range of gins and here you can try their famous Six Bells Lemon Gin. Launched at the end of 2018, this gin takes its name from the classic nursery rhyme and is a complex and bright, citrus-forward gin. Infused with Spanish lemons with a traditional London Gin botanical base, it’s a delicious gin that reminds us of sunnier times ahead.
City Of London Distillery Old Tom Gin (50cl / 40.3% vol)
Old Tom Gin is an older style of gin that pre-dates the popular London Dry. With a dominant base of Juniper, this gin has an interesting mix of botanicals including bitter orange, coriander, orange, lemon, angelica blossom, and pine notes. It’s a beautiful modern style of Old Tom that emphasizes balance and subtlety with complimentary warmth coming from the included spices.
Navas Tonic Waters (200ml each)
This month, there are two tonic waters from Navas to try. These are premium 100% natural Cornish mixers that have a focus on bringing out the character of the spirits which they’re paired with. Try the Premium Tonic for its crisp and citrus flavour which works well with any type of gin, whilst the Garden Tonic is a fragrant affair with earthy notes that suits gins that are equally earthy or spicy.
