This month is themed The English Rose Box and contains the following:-
HMS Spirits Mary Rose Gin (42% vol / 50cl)
Formed in 2016, the HMS Spirits Company is inspired by the founder’s naval family background. The Mary Rose Gin was HMS Spirits’ first flagship product which is made with 100% organic British wheat grain spirit as its base. This well-balanced juniper-led London Dry has added Pink Grapefruit Peel to liven up the palate, with soft Rosemary notes to finish.
City Of London Rhubarb & Rose Gin (40.3% / 50cl)
The City Of London’s range of gins are multi-award-winning and are made to traditional recipes in copper stills. This Rhubarb & Rose Gin was first released back in 2019 to much acclaim and is unlike any other gin on the market. To make it properly unique, it blends plenty of fresh Rhubarb and dried Rose Petals in both the pot and basket during distillation with its strong London Dry at its base.
Mixers
For mixers this month, we have the Artisan Drinks Skinny London Tonic which boasts a natural blend of aromatic botanicals with specially selected Orange and Lemon essences. The lower amount of fruit sugar also helps to balance the crispness of the Quinine for a well-rounded flavour.
On the other side is the Double Dutch Pomegranate & Basil Tonic that has a complex flavour profile to really liven things up! The Pomegranate adds both sweet and tart notes, whilst the Basil brings a little peppery top to the drink.
