City Of London Distillery Six Bells Lemon Gin (50cl / 40.3% vol)
The City Of London Distillery’s gin range has grown significantly over the years and launched at the end of 2018, the Six Bells Lemon Gin takes its name from the classic nursery rhyme. Rather than a flavoured gin, this is unmistakably a gin drinker’s gin with well-balanced lemon botanicals that don’t overpower the tastebuds. The lemon flavours are instead carefully layered over a classic dry gin base so the core is juniper heavy with soft and earthy notes sitting next to the tantalizing lemon that comes through.
City Of London Distillery Murcian Orange Gin (50cl / 40.3% vol)
Similar in composition, the Murcian Orange Gin is wonderfully spiced with a rich and rounded profile highlighting delicious bitter-sweet orange with some more robust aromatics. Bright and warming, this bold gin is perfect in Negronis or any other drink where you want a little extra spice.
The Artisan Drinks Co Tonics
Both of the tonics this month come from The Artisan Drinks Co and I love the stylish and arty designs of the bottles. The Classic London Tonic ticks all the right boxes when you want a clean, crisp taste. The subtle botanical notes compliment the character and quality of any drier craft gin, whereas the Pink Citrus Tonic is the perfect match for any fruity flavoured gins and has lovely hints of pink grapefruit, blood orange and lemon for a summer G&T.
