I Love Gin is a monthly subscription box aimed at, you’ve guessed it, gin lovers! Delivered to your door every month, subscribers receive a box containing two mini bottles of artisan gin with two premium mixers/tonics so that they can make up to four G&Ts at home.
This month, it’s themed ‘The Cosy Evening In Box’ and contains the following:-
6 O’Clock Gin Damson (50cl / 40%)
Made in a traditional way in small batches using hand-picked damsons and a moderate amount of sugar, the 6 O’Clock Gin is the taste of autumn and winter. The damsons are slowly infused into the original gin formula where the fruit combines with the smoothness of the gin to give an intense fruity dryness. This is a gin that tastes good neat but really adds a flavourful punch when mixed with a classic tonic.
Murray & Yeatman Navy Strength Gin (50cl / 57% ABV)
Distilled and bottled in Sussex, England, Murray & Yeatman prides themselves on doing things the old-fashioned way. They distill all of their gins using methods that date back to 1651, with a little help from modern technology. The Navy Strength gin is a rich, full-bodied spirit with a whopping 57% abv.
Moving onto the mixers, this month you can try Navas Garden Tonic Water; a fragant tonic with aromas of pine, wood, and sweet earthy notes from rosemary and thyme. Combining layers of citrus, it makes for a rounded and balanced tonic that suits a wide variety of classic gins.
Alternatively, you can’t go wrong with Lixir Refreshingly Light Tonic Water. Mixed by expert bartenders, this healthier option boasts over 60% less sugar than traditional tonic waters, yet delivers the same crisp, clean flavour that you would expect.
