I Love Gin is one of my favourite subscription boxes to review and I just love discovering new and exciting gins every single month. Delivered straight to your door, you’ll receive two bottles of artisan gin, plus two mixers/drinkers so that you can make up to four G&Ts at home.
This month is themed The Country Estate Box and contains the following:-
Berkshire Botanical Rhubarb & Raspberry Gin (50ml / 40.3% vol)
Founded by Johnny Neill of Whitley Neill fame, this inspiration behind Berkshire Botanical was the countryside that Johnny lives in after moving out of London. It’s very much focused on the flora and fauna of the Yattendon Estate and he’s even created a partnership with the Berks, Bucks & Oxon Wildlife Trust to protect local wildlife in the area. Needless to say, this gin tastes as good as it does good. Distilled in traditional copper pots, the gin is gently infused with rhubarb and raspberries for a fresh, fruity and elegant flavour.
Ramsbury Single Estate Gin (50ml / 40% vol)
As one of the few single estate gins in the whole of the UK, Ramsbury is an award winner with a modern twist on the classic London dry formula. Crisp and full-bodied with lots of lush floral notes, it combines juniper, fresh quince, cinnamon, liquorice, orris root, dried lemon peel, orange peel, coriander and angelica for a clean-tasting, contemporary gin.
Mixers
This month, there are two mixers from the popular Double Dutch premium brand. The Indian Tonic Water is of course a classic that goes with any gin for the perfect G&T, whilst the Ginger Beer has a crisp snap to it with a hint of lime and particularly complements fruity gins like the Berkshire Botanical above.
