Kawaii Box – July 2020 Sanrio Summer Splash

The Kawaii Box is exactly what it sounds like: a box fulled with super cute things! It comes from Japan, which leads the market in all things adorable, and contains a selection of plushie, yummy, wearable, stationery, and practical, all of which are cute! You’ll also get premium brands such as Sanrio and Pusheen.

It is priced at $21.90 a month, which is around £17.50 depending on the exchange rate.

The cuteness definitely starts with the box, all pink and white and decorated.

The theme this month is Sanrio Summer Splash, which promises plenty of familiar Sanrio characters.

The first item out is this lovely soft Sanrio Soft Plushie Purse. This is one of a selection of characters, and I believe he is one of the Little Twin Stars.

As you can see, there is a zip opening to hide coins are goodies, plus a chain so it can be hung off a bag or keychain.

A sweet snack here, Gudetama Custard Biscuits. Gudetama the lazy egg is one of my favourite kawaii characters, and these yummy mini cookies each have a different cute picture of him on them. Almost too cute to eat!

This Sanrio Die Cut Letter Set is a selection of fun shaped papers and envelopes for the most cute letters, and this little guy is Tuxedo Sam, a chubby little pengiun.

The Munching Pudgy Hamster Pen is the perfect pair for the letter set, showing this fat little hamster munching away. It’s a very nice pen too, writing very fine.

Another favourite of mine, Japanese Motif Washi Tape. This one has a beautiful design of flowers and birds edged in gold. These tapes are perfect for decorating journals or crafts, and fantastic addition to my washi collection!

Another stationery item, Sanrio Characters Sticky Notes. These are little tabs that can be used as bookmarks or making little notes, and the My Melody design is so lovely!

This sweet treat is also adorable, Hello Kitty Strawverry Jelly Marshmallows. They are filled with strawberry jelly, and the red colour matches Hello Kitty’s trademark bow.

Finally, a wearable item, these Sanrio Character Socks. I’ve got Little Twin Stars design, which is especially fun as they are a pair but they are different!
