July’s My Little Box brings us another taste of summer with a box full of coconut scented beauty treats and some gorgeous lifestyle items that are perfect for your holiday. I’m a massive fan of anything coconut related so this box really appealed to me and I love the fun tropical palm tree print on the box itself.
Let’s have a look at what’s inside shall we?
My Little World monthly magazine
Sticking with the theme of coconuts, My Little Box’s fab little magazine has lots of features on the tropical superfood, covering everything from its origins and history to the multiple uses of coconut oil. There are also some yummy recipes, an island hopping travel feature (which has seriously got me in the wanderlusting mood), a tropical themed fashion editorial and a fun cocktail personality quiz.
Kanako Print
This month’s Kanako print features an illustration of a girl enjoying a coconut drink accompanied by the slogan “The two basic items necessary to sustain life are sunshine and coconut milk” which is apparently a quote by Dustin Hoffman of all people. I’m inclined to agree!
My Little Box Passport Holder (worth £11)
There are two lifestyle items this month, and I was delighted to find this cute passport holder inside as I’ve been meaning to buy one this year. It has a tropical, summery print illustration on it and feels good quality. I love the ‘Let’s get lost’ tagline at the bottom too.
Stella & Dot x My Little Box Bracelet (worth £18)
The second lifestyle item is this beautiful gold tone bracelet which is an exclusive collaboration between My Little Box and Stella & Dot. It has a cute little green tassel on it and I think it looks so pretty worn on its own or layered with other gold bracelets.
Yves Rocher Coconut Eau de Toilette (20ml travel size, worth £7)
Most of the beauty products this month are coconut scented (to fit in with the summer/coconut theme of course!), so it makes sense to find a coconut perfume inside. This one’s from the popular French brand, Yves Rocher, who I’ve used a lot of various products from over the years, and I love the scent of it. It’s fresh, a bit floral, a lot of coconut and completely summery. Great travel size bottle for taking with on holiday so you can freshen up on the beach.
My Little Beauty Coconut Spritzer After Sun Spray (100ml, worth £10)
Speaking of beaches, if you’ve been in the sun all day, this Coconut Spritzer from My Little Box’s own brand range, My Little Beauty, is your ideal companion. It’s a coconut scented after sun spray and it feels very soothing and moisturising on the skin. Another product that will be going into the holiday bag!
Merci Handy Coco Rico Hand Cleansing Gel (30ml, £3)
Hand sanitizers are one of those products that you can never have too many of – I literally have one in every bag because they are so useful when you’re out and about, especially if you use public transport. This one’s in the scent Coco Rico, which as you can guess, is wonderfully coconut scented.
Ojon Rare Blend Oil Moisture Therapy (2ml)
Lastly, I found a sample of Ojon’s much talked about Rare Blend Oil which I’ve been wanting to try for ages! I have very long hair that’s naturally quite dry and frizzy, so hair oils are my best friend, especially when it’s hot or humid outside. This is a small 2ml vial but trust me when I say these sorts of products go a long way – you only need to use one drop each time so you’ll get plenty of uses out of this!
I think this is my favourite box from My Little Box so far, simply because I love anything coconut scented and I know that I’ll use every single product. Great job My Little Box!
