My Little Box

My Little Box has teamed up with the popular French clothing brand, Claudie Pierlot, for an exclusive collaboration box. With this in mind, the overall theme for September’s My Little Box is named ‘Mademoiselle’ and looks at the style and beauty of young Parisians in the city.

Instead of the usual ‘shoebox’ style box, September’s My Little Box features a really cool open-out design and has a shopping illustration from Kanako. How cute is that?! I’ll definitely be re-using this!

Opening up the box, I find the lovely My Little World monthly mini-magazine, which always offers a good read alongside my morning coffee. Features this month include Living Like A Parisian, smokey-eye makeup tutorials, how to rescue dried up mascara, interviews with Freddy Love and Claudie Pierlot, and a very chic and stylish Mademoiselle themed fashion shoot.

As this is a collaboration box with Claudie Pierlot, I was very excited to see what the accompanying lifestyle/fashion product would be, and it’s this beautiful envelope style Mademoiselle Pierlot Purse (worth £30!). Embellished with the brand’s signature bow-tie on the front, it’s made of a faux leather type material so it’s easy to wipe clean, and has a very modern and on-trend colourway of navy with a pink-red edging to give it a fashionable twist.

I absolutely love this purse and feel that it’s one of the best lifestyle/fashion products I’ve ever received in a beauty box! Moving onto the beauty contents, this month’s cotton drawstring bag has a cute eyelashes and lips face print (again, I feel that this is one of their best designs yet – simple but so pretty), and includes these three products:-

Erborian Ginseng Shot Mask (1 sheet mask, worth £6) Anyone who knows me will know that I’m addicted to sheet masks so it’s always a real treat for me to find one in a beauty box. I haven’t heard of this Korean brand before, but it’s a ginseng infused sheet mask that promises to give you fresh, bouncy skin with a brightening and smoothing effect. It gets to work in just 10-15 minutes, so it’s ideal for people who are short on time and don’t have hours to spend on a full pamper routine. Sounds good to me!

REN Centifolia 3-in-1 Cleansing Water (50ml travel size, worth £8) I’ve used a full size bottle of this in the past and really loved it – it’s a very gentle micellar water that cleanses, tones, removes makeup and refreshes the skin. I’m a big fan of REN as a brand and this is one of their best products. It’s a great travel size too and because of the multi-purpose function of the formula, this little bottle will save you a lot of space in your toiletries bag.

My Little Beauty Mademoiselle Mascara (full size, worth £14) The last item is from My Little Box’s own brand range, My Little Beauty, and is a full-size mascara that aims to give your lashes ‘audacious volume’. I’ve tried it a couple of times and it does indeed give extra oomph and volume to the lashes – it’s almost like you’re wearing falsies!

My Little Box continue to impress me with their creativity and collaborations, which help to set them apart from the rest of the typical beauty boxes on the market.
