Little World Builder is a fun way for your children to learn about iconic buildings around the world, and complete a model of each one.
Your guides are Hailey and Caesar, two children who go on adventures to visit all the featured buildings.
This time they have travelled all the way to China to visit the Hall of Supreme Harmony!
Every box is personalised with your child’s name – when you sign up you even get to pick the font!
Here’s this month’s building to explore.
You get a guide to what’s in the box, including the introductory postcard.
The postcard is a chatty description written from the point of view of the child guides. It also tells you what’s coming in the next box!
The educational resources are useful and interesting. There is an information card about the building itself, covering history, architecture, materials etc. Then there is an activities card, which incorporate both maths and literacy, as well as some more creative and artistic things to do.
These 3D puzzles always look great, and are surprisingly detailed. Younger children will require assistance, though older ones will enjoy the challenge of completing it themselves! They put together a very nice model of the building, which can be mounted on the box insert if desired.
More creativity is the scrapbook page. In the very first box you get scrapbook covers, and each box contains a special page for each building to add to it. There are stickers and a special ‘VIP ticket’ which you can add to your scrapbook, which will build up into a nice book of buildings!
Finally there’s a certificate for completing the activities.
All boxes come with a bonus craft gift, and this month there are two plaster Chinese dragons to paint.
