Beauty boxes come in all shapes and sizes, but if you’re looking for one that only gives you full-size products, Look Incredible is the beauty box for you. They release two different versions of their box every month; a Standard edition and a special Deluxe edition, however, both of them will contain only full-sized beauty products so you can say goodbye to samples and sachets! The main difference is in the cost and the selection of products that you’ll receive.
The Standard Look Incredible Beauty Box is £18.99 plus postage, whereas the Deluxe version is £35 (including postage) so it depends on what your monthly budget is as to which box you’d want to subscribe to. What I can say though is that I’ve seen both versions, and I can’t fault them at all. They offer amazing value for money and feature products that you can purchase online at Look Incredible, so there are lots of high-end makeup and skincare brands that they can choose from to put into the boxes.
Look Incredible have kindly sent me February’s Deluxe Beauty Box to review and I was so excited to see what brands would be included. Everything arrived in a white matte box with the company logo and slogan on the front, and there was a cute bow in the corner which I thought was a nice extra touch.
Inside I found the following five full-size beauty products:-
Burberry Sheer Eye Shadow in No. 24 Mulberry (RRP £23)
I haven’t had the pleasure of trying out any Burberry makeup until now, and I was totally blown away by how beautiful the packaging and compact for this single eyeshadow is. It’s housed in a weighty metal case featuring the iconic Burberry print, with a decent sized mirror and a cool magnetic closure. The eyeshadow also features the same classic print for an even more luxurious feeling. The eyeshadow itself is buttery soft, easy to blend and doesn’t crease me, even after a good 8 or 9 hours of wear. The colour ‘Mulberry’ is a warm rich burgundy with a subtle frost/pearlescent finish. A beautiful addition to my makeup collection!
Nails Inc Match Box Babes/Mint Nail & Lip Paint (RRP £15)
A limited edition Matchbox collection from Nails Inc produced in collaboration with makeup artist Lottie Tomlinson. I quite like the idea of matching your lips and nails with a neutral pink shade like these products, and as expected, the quality from Nails Inc is fantastic as always. The Gel Effect nail polish in the shade ‘Mint’ is perfect for everyday wear, and the Lip Paint in Babes has a pretty, on-trend liquid lip matte finish that I just love.
Studio 10 I-Lift Longwear Liner (RRP £22)
Multi-purpose products are a must in my make-up bag as they save on space and time when you’re in a rush to do your makeup. This double-ended eyeliner from Studio 10 features a nude skin tone / neutral shade on one side to brighten up and refresh your eyes (great for using in the waterline to get rid of any redness too), and the other side has a rich dark brown that you can use as a liner or shadow. The liners are smooth, highly pigmented, long-lasting/waterproof and the formulas are enriched with Jojoba Oil and Vitamin E to be on gentle on the eyes.
Laura Geller SuperCharged Spackle Makeup Primer (RRP £25)
I’ve been wanting to try out this makeup primer from Laura Geller for such a long time, so thank you Look Incredible for including it in this month’s deluxe box! Spackle is an award-winning primer and having finally tried it for myself, I can definitely see what all the fuss is about and why so many people love it. It creates a super smooth canvas for applying makeup and makes your skin look fresh and plumped up all day. A new favourite for sure!
NARS Velvet Gloss Lip Pencil in Club Mix (RRP £20)
I’m a huge fan of NARS and was delighted to see one of their Velvet Gloss Lip Pencils in the box. I already have one of these in a gorgeous peachy pink shade and I’ve had my eye on this ‘Club Mix’ colour for a while now. It’s a beautiful berry shade that’s really easy to wear, and it offers a moisturising, glossy wash of colour on the lips. This is the kind of lip product that you can just throw into your bag and re-apply on the go without needing to reach for a mirror. High-end but low maintenance – just how I like it!
The overall value of February’s Look Incredible Deluxe Beauty Box is a whopping £107, so for a £35 subscription fee, that’s amazing value for money!
