Spring is here (finally) and with it comes sunshine, spring makeup looks and all of the wonderful spring theme subscription boxes! I always love receiving the LookFantastic boxes, especially their limited edition boxes. However, I think this beauty box is one of my favourites for a while. I adore the colour scheme for the April spring box and the products included.
Vintage Cosmetics Company Tweezers (£8)
Let’s start with the beauty tool included in the April box and it’s a pair of cute pink tweezers from The Vintage Cosmetics Company. This brand has been included in a box before as well as other subscription boxes and I like it! I am currently using their sharpener and it’s great so I know I will like their tweezers.
Ameliorate Transforming Body Lotion (£4)
I was so excited to find this product in the box as I have had it in various online baskets for months but haven’t got round to buying it. I’ve heard incredible things about this body lotion as it can apparently help get rid of those pesky little bumps on the upper arms that I think most people suffer with, including me. I’ve only tried the lotion a couple of times so far and I like it but I will only notice results after using it for a while – I can’t wait!
Erno Lazlo Hydraphel Skin Supplement (£5.58)
I have tried this brand before as LookFantastic released a box of only Erno Lazlo products a while ago and I enjoyed using a few of their products so I was interesting to try another item from the brand. This product is a toner that is formulated to hydrate, repair, calm and boost cell turnover for softer and more supple skin. I haven’t tried it yet but I’m interested to try this cute mini.
Minetan Coffee Scrub (£9.95)
I love body scrubs and I love coffee (probably a little too much) so a combination of the two is perfect. I haven’t heard of this brand before but the scrub is designed to remove dry skin to reveal silky soft skin and a more even skin tone. It is apparently suitable for the face and body but I will only be using it on my body as I personally don’t like to use physical exfoliators on my face (I only stick to chemical exfoliators).
Starskin 100% Camellia 2 Step Oil Sheet Mask (£9)
Next up is a slightly unusual sheet mask as it contains a two step process whereby you apply the separate oil all over the skin, followed by the sheet mask. I haven’t been able to give it a go yet but it’s something I need to use ASAP as I think a little pampering is needed right now for all of us! I’ve heard amazing tings about this Korean brand so a pamper night needs to happen very soon.
BellaPierre Peach Blossom Palette (£28.99)
Last but not least is the prettiest item in the box and it is also the most expensive! I think the price is very high for such a small palette but it makes the box amazing value. The palette is exclusive to the April LookFantastic box and it contains four large eyeshadows that would be perfect for a warm toned, shimmery makeup look for the spring months.
