I always look forward to the monthly delivery from LookFantastic as their beauty boxes contain so many fantastic products and this month is no different. The February box is in keeping with the love and pink theme for February. The items range from makeup and makeup tools to body care and skincare with brands including Illamasqua, ESPA, Naobay and more.
ESPA Detoxifying Body Oil (15ml)
Let’s start with the one body care item in the box which is from the much loved brand ESPA. The body oil is designed to firm the skin and soothe muscles which is something everyone needs during the winter months. The body oil smells lovely and although I don’t typically use products like this, I had to try the oil and I loved it, surprisingly.
Filorga Meso Mask (15ml)
Another mini but this time a facial mask from the brand Filorga. The mask infused with an anti-ageing complex which is used in non-surgical procedures to leave the skin plumper, brighter and with a more even tone. I haven’t tried this mask yet and anti-ageing is my primary skin concern but it sounds like impressive!
Project Lip Mask
One of the few full sized items in the box is a lip mask from Project which is a brand I haven’t heard of. I’ve tried a couple of lip masks from previous subscription boxes and I did like the effect but using the mask is such a bizarre experience!
Naobay Gentle Toner (125ml)
Another full sized product in the February box is a beautifully packaged toner! I have tried one or two products from this brand previously and liked them, especially the packaging design and gentle formulas. I love using toners as an extra step after cleansing and this one is a fantastic, gentle option.
Brushworks HD Wonder Sponge
I love the inclusion of makeup and makeup tools within subscription boxes as they are the products that interest me the most. Thankfully the last two products in the box were makeup related. I haven’t used a sponge for my BB cream for a while but now I’ve started again, I don’t know why I stopped! Using a sponge is such a quick and easy way of applying and blending base products and this sponge is fantastic for that.
Illamasqua Mini Lipstick in Antimatter
Last but definitely not least is my favourite product from the box as it’s a beautiful everyday lipstick from Illamasqua. I used to love their foundations but haven’t tried their lipsticks before now and I’m impressed. I love the shade, it’s a lovely everyday rosey nude which is just what I want in a casual, everyday lipstick.
