Father’s Day in the UK is coming up this Sunday but don’t panic as there’s still time to buy a lovely gift for your dad or grandad! LookFantastic, as well as their amazing beauty subscription boxes, also make limited edition box for special occasions such as Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day and Father’s Day.
Today I’m reviewing their new Father’s Day box which is only £49 but it’s worth a whopping £136 so it is amazing value for money! The box contains six fill sized grooming items from the following brands: Elemis, Men-U, Refinery, ECooking, Murdock London and lastly, my favourite, Molton Brown.
The box comes beautifully packaged which is great for someone like me who can’t wrap presents nicely at all! You can receive a £5 discount on the box if you are signed up (or if you will sign up) to their beauty subscription box. Also they are offering free next day delivery on the Father’s Day box so if you order up until tomorrow then you will receive it in time for the big day.
Elemis Deep Cleanse Facial Wash
Let’s start with one of my favourite brands from the box, along with Molton Brown, Elemis. I love the Elemis skincare and bodycare products I’ve tried so I’m sure that the mens range will be of the highest standard too. The facial wash contains oak bark, spearmint and peppermint to deeply cleanse the skin.
Murdock London Quince and Oakmoss Shampoo
There’s a fantastic range of brands within the Father’s Day box with well known option such as Elemis and Molton Brown and to me, lesser known brands including ECooking and Murdock London. The shampoo is sulphate free which is fantastic! It is designed to deeply cleanse the hair and scalp, remove impurities and act as a gentle shampoo.
ECooking Night Cream
As well as the Elemis facial wash, there’s also a night cream from the Danish brand ECooking. It claims to leave the skin looking youthful and radiant with natural ingredients. I tried a mini sample of one of their face masks earlier in the month and loved it so I’m sure this night cream is great too!
Men-U Shave Cream
Another brand I haven’t really come across before, Men-U. A shave cream is a fantastic addition to the box amongst all of the skincare. The innovative formula of the shave cream protects from razor burn and cuts. It contains tea tree oil and provides a protective barrier for a close shave. I think out of all the products in the box, my dad would love the shave cream and Molton Brown shower gel the most!
Refinery Eye Gel
The final skincare item is from Refinery and it’s a cooling eye gel to reduce dark circles, helps with fine lines and reduces puffiness, which I’m sure is something we all have at times – I know I do.
Molton Brown Tobacco Absolute Bath and Shower Gel
Last but definitely not least is my favourite item from the entire box! Molton Brown has been one of my favourite higher end brands for the past few years and I cannot recommend their shower gels enough! This is the first time I’m trying the Tobacco Absolute scent and I adore it as it smells so musky, woody and rich!
