If there’s one subscription box I always look forward to each month, it’s the LookFantastic boxes! I love the mystery, I always find something new to try and I end up with a range of great sample sizes that are perfect for on the go or travelling. The February LookFantastic is ‘The Beauty Rendezvous’ box so it features various products to help you get Valentine’s Day ready!
Let’s start with the Trifle Cosmetics Lip Scrub in Sugar Pear. Firstly, the packaging is adorable and it has a lot of great ingredients such as cacao butter, sweet almond oil, pecan seed oil and more. Trifle Cosmetics is 100% cruelty free which is amazing and I cannot wait to try this cute lip scrub as it sounds great.
A great product to use after the lip scrub is the much raved about Dr Paw Paw Multipurpose Balm which is great for lips, skin, finishing touches and cuticles. I’ve just been using it as a lip balm and it’s fantastic. The size is 10ml which is perfect to keep in your handbag.
This is the product I was most excited to see in the box as it’s something I’ve tried before and I loved it. The Caudalie SOS Serum contains grape water and hyaluronic acid, the latter is amazing for dry skin types. I love this serum for my dry, sensitive skin so I can’t wait to use it again.
There are two higher end skincare items within the box, the first is the Filorga Mesh-Mask which claims to give your skin radiance and luminosity while reducing the appearance of wrinkles as well as reducing signs of fatigue and evening out the skin tone. I haven’t really tried anything from this brand so I’m interested to see if it lives up to the claims.
There’s only one makeup item in the February LookFantastic box and it’s the Bella Pierre Shimmer Roll in Champagne which is a gorgeous golden shade. I haven’t tried anything like this since the late 90’s as roll on glitter was everywhere when I was growing up. I’m not sure how I feel about it now but I love the shade.
Last but not least is the final skincare item in the box and it’s from a wonderful brand, Elemis. I’ve tried a couple of products from Elemis previously so I’m interested to try the Elemis Pro-Collagen Anti-Wrinkle Day Cream. I’m not quite at the anti-ageing skincare range just yet but I usually like products aimed at more mature skin as they tend to be very moisturising.
