I adore the LookFantastic limited edition boxes, even more so than the fantastic monthly subscription boxes and the new box with Pai Skincare is no different! I’ve received quite a few of the limited edition boxes from LookFantastic and they are all amazing value for money and beautifully packaged so they’d make wonderful Christmas gifts!
I’ve tried a few products from Pai Skincare over the past few years and loved everything especially as their products are ideal for those with sensitive skin, as I had years ago. Thankfully I don’t have eczema anymore but I still couldn’t wait to try these lovely products, particularly as everything was packaged so nicely.
Pai Rosehip BioRegenerate Oil (10ml)
As with the other LookFantastic limited edition boxes, there’s not only a range of products in the box but a range of sizes too. Some of the smaller sizes are only 10ml each but I think hat’s a great trial or even travel size. The oil contains rosehip fruit and seed oil to brighten, firm and even the skin tone. It’s getting to that time of the year again when I start to use richer facial oils so I’m happy to have a new one to try.
Pai Kukui & Jojoba Bead Skin Brightening Exfoliator (10ml)
The other smaller sizes includes this mini exfoliator which doesn’t contain harsh grains or microbeads but spherical jojoba beads which exfoliate the skin without being too abrasive or scratchy. I’ve only use this exfoliator once so far but it left my skin super smooth and soft without feeling stripped.
Pai Copaiba Deep Cleanse AHA Mask (10ml)
The final mini size is a AHA (alpha hydroxy acid) mask designed to clear the skin and reduce the appearance of existing blemishes. Since I have managed to get rid of the eczema on my face, I’ve started to venture into the world of AHAs and chemical exfoliants so I’m excited to try this mask!
Pai Chamomile & Reship Calming Day Cream (50ml)
Now onto the full sized products, starting with my favourite product from the box, the day cream. It contains chamomile extract to reduce redness and calm the skin which would be ideal for those with sensitive skin types, as I had. I love the packaging of all Pai products as they look so simple but so beautiful and this one is my favourite. The day cream feels so lovely on the skin as it is rich and nourishing which is what my skin wants at this time of the year. It smells lovely too which is always a plus. I cannot recommend this gorgeous moisturiser enough!
Pai Light Work Rosehip Cleansing Oil (145ml)
The largest item in the box is the cleansing oil which, like the day cream, comes in a pretty glass bottle! It is suitable for sensitive skin and claims to remove makeup without stinging your eyes or irritating your skin – that’s impressive. I tend to use cream or balm cleansers at this time of the year but I have been loving using this one recently.
Pai Echium & Argan Gentle Eye Cream (15ml)
Last but not least, to compete the skincare routine in a box is an eye cream! I love all forms of skincare but eye creams are products that I always tend to forget about – I just use my regular moisturiser under my eyes. However, my foundation and concealer can looks a little drier when the weather turns colder so I think I need to start using a rich eye cream. This one has a light, non-greasy texture that moisturises without any heaviness.
