LookFantastic have released some of my favourite beauty subscription boxes and their September ‘birthday’ box is one of my favourites of the year! Firstly, the box design itself is so pretty and I love the variety of the contents of the box for September. There are six items within the box, all of which are great travel sizes as well as one cute full sized item.
Pixi Liplift Max
Let’s start with one of the makeup items in the box which is from Pixi. I love the skincare I’ve tried from Pixi but I haven’t really ventured into their makeup. The Pixi Liplift Max in Honey Sheen is worth £12 and it leaves a glossy finish with subtle ‘apricot gold gleam’. I love the shade and the glossy finish which is perfect for summer.
Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel
One of my favourite items from the box, along with the brow stylist, shower gel and bath bomb, is the Oskia cleanser. I haven’t tried anything from this brand but I’ve heard nothing but fantastic things from other bloggers. It’s a rose and chamomile scented cleanser that quickly dissolves makeup. It contains pumpkin enzymes and multiple vitamins to detoxify, soothe and hydrate the skin. I am so happy with this cleanser as it is gentle but incredibly effective against any makeup – it’s probably my favourite cleanser from a subscription box…ever!
Bubble T x LookFantastic Birthday Bath Bomb
The cutest item has to be the Bubble T x LookFantastic bath bomb which is a limited edition product for their 5th birthday. I adore the cute packaging, the scent is super sweet and from my experience of using other Bubble T bath bombs, I know this one will last for a while in the water and it will look so pretty as it fizzes away.
Molton Brown Orange and Bergamot Shower Gel
Molton Brown is one of my favourite brands as their products are effective, luxe and they always smell incredible. I usually prefer their more musky scents but this one is fresh, citrusy and ideal for summer. I love the scent of bergamot so I knew I’d love this one – I need to try more from this range.
Caudalie Premier Cru Eye Cream
Another one of my favourite brands is the French skincare brand Caudalie. I’ve tried their bodycare, fragrance and skincare products and loved every single one. I recently had laser eye surgery so I can’t use eye creams just yet but I know I’ll adore this eye cream. The mini size will be great for my short trip to Glasgow in October.
Sleek Brow Stylist
Last but not least is a brow pencil from Sleek. I used to love their eyeshadow palettes but I haven’t used anything from them for years. I recently bought a few new brow pencils so I’m happy to have another to try. I have the dark brown shade which is perfect, the spoolie is a handy addition and it’s a great easy brow pencil to use.
