Mila and Pheebs create stationery and activity boxes for children. They contain a mixture of stationery, crafts, stickers, and fun items, based around a different theme each month. It’s £10 per month plus £2.99 P&P.
The box is flat enough to go through the letterbox, and it’s got wonderful decorations on it!
This month’s theme is The Ice Cream Parlour. On the flyer is a list of all the items in the box.
Open up the flyer and there is the newsletter! This is great fun, lots of jokes, trivia, and bright illustrations.
There are always plenty of stickers! Some lovely shiny alphabet stickers, plus very cute foam ice cream stickers. An excellent addition to the sticker collection.
The first of two craft kits, an Ice Cream Sand Art Kit. These are very cute. You get packets of coloured sand, and a shape with sticky paper on it. You peel off the different parts on the shape and sprinkle sand on them to complete your picture.
This is what it looked like completed!
Here’s the second craft kit, a Keyring Kit. This one is in the shape of an ice cream – very appropriate! On the left it this month’s lovely collectible eraser, an ice cream sundae. These little erasers are far too nice to use!
Here’s the completed keyring.
A set of sparkly colouring pencils, which are perfect for the next thing.
Mila and Pheebs are now running a competition every month, which is a great idea. This time it’s to design your own ice cream sundae, and included are some little bottles of tiny sparkles to use as toppings. The colouring pencils are perfect for this as well.
There are blank greeting cards in every Mila and Pheebs box. One of them has a lovely embossed design of cherries, delicious!
Finally, always included are colouring and puzzle sheets. My daughter is a big fan of word games, so she loves the puzzles.
Well, this month’s theme gives a lovely reminder of summer!
As always, the selection of items is lovely and varied. Stickers are a huge hit, and colouring pencils always come in useful! These are really pretty ones too.
I really like the little craft kits, it’s lovely to have something to keep like a keyring. The sand are is terrific fun, and quite messy for a change! The finished result looks very effective.
