Another month, another delicious Mr Big Tops box. I’ve said it before but I’ll say it again, receiving this through the post is a real highlight in my month. I just love it! I think the contents of this month’s box is the most vibrant yet, how could those brightly coloured wrappers and sweeties not raise a smile?!
In this month’s box I received a selection of seven different sweets:
- Refreshers
- Black Jacks
- Giant Jazzies
- Rhubarb and Custards
- Rainbow Drops
- Sweet Peanuts
- Popping Candy
The popping candy was a real highlight, as it brings back plenty of childhood memories. For some reason I look back on it as something we only had on special occasions, such as trips to Chessington World of Adventures or at birthday parties! For the first time ever there were several sweets included in this box which I didn’t like (rainbow drops, sweet peanuts & black jacks) but thankfully as receiving this box has become a real family affair I was able to palm them off onto a sibling who devoured them in an instant.
One of the many great things about Mr Big Tops is that it comes in a letterbox sized box which I really applaud. As someone who isn’t always at home or in an office 9-5 I appreciate that I don’t have to worry about missing a delivery or making a special trip to the post office. Instead I get to come home to a lovely little treat sitting on my doormat and I can honestly say after a tough day nothing perks it up like a Mr Big Tops subscription box.
I genuinely think this is such an ideal gift or even just a nice treat for yourself. Mr Big Tops offers a choice of four subscriptions (twice a week, once a week, fortnightly or once a month) and the price per box slightly differs depending which option you select. Postage is included for all services. The most you’ll end up paying per box is £5.49 for the monthly option which I think is pretty good value, especially given the nostalgia element. This month I got to try some brand new sweeties as well as enjoy a few of my all time favourites. Thumbs up all round!
