Cocktail Kit 1: Bahama Mama for 2 People
I love fruity cocktails because they remind me of Summer holidays and days spent on the beach – something that I could certainly do with right now! The Bahama Mama is a delicious cocktail and this kit comprises of the following ingredients:-
- 60ml Havana Club Rum
- 30ml Malibu Coconut Rum
- 30ml Grenadine Syrup
- Bottle of Britvic Orange Juice
- Bottle of Britvic Pineapple Juice
- 1 Lime
On the back of the enclosed recipe card are easy to follow instructions about how to make the cocktail and this one is super easy! All you need to do is the fill a glass with ice, then pour all of the ingredients in, and it’s done! You can garnish it further with a cherry or pineapple wedge and I loved the beautiful bright colour, well as that deliciously fruity, tropical rum flavour of course!
Cocktail Kit 2: Pina Colada-tini for 2 People
Sticking with the tropical vibe, I decided to try a Pina Colada-tini which is a tasty contemporary spin on the classic cocktail drink. The ingredients for this were:-
- 100ml Havana Club Rum
- 60ml Malibu Coconut Rum
- 30ml Blue Curacao
- Bottle of Britvic Pineapple Juice
- Tin of M&S Coconut Cream
This cocktail was also easy to make. Simply add Ice Cubes and all of the ingredients (except the Blue Curacao) to a cocktail shaker and give everything a good shake. Strain into martini glasses and then slowly drizzle the Blue Curacao down the side of the glass – it will settle to the bottom and give the cocktail this gorgeous layered finish. The Pina Colada-tini is a must-try for anyone who enjoys a rum-heavy, tropical drink with an indulgent coconut cream flavour. Yum!
Cocktail Kit 3: Nutella Martini for 2 People
The last cocktail that I tried was for my inner chocoholic and if you also have a sweet tooth, you will love this one! Introducing the Nutella Martini which is even more delicious than you can imagine! This cocktail requires the following ingredients:-
- 60ml Amsterdam Vodka
- 60ml Frangelico Hazelnut Liqueur
- 60ml Semi-Skimmed Milk
- 60g Nutella
Another one that’s easy to make and which looks impressive, though I will admit that my skills are a little messy lol! Start by dipping the rim of the martini glass into the Nutella and then dip this into some crushed hazelnuts if you have any to hand (I whizzed up a few in my blender). For the drink itself, add Ice Cubes and all of the ingredients to a shaker and give it a really good shake to ensure that the Nutella mixes properly with the alcohol. Strain and pour into the glasses.
This was my favourite of the three and was such as decadent treat to finish of the weekend with – thanks Muddlebox!
