It’s that time of the month where I review the amazing and unique My Geek Box which is a UK based geeky subscription box. The July box contains six items from the usual t-shirt and figurines to socks and a mystery box. I always love receiving mystery boxes within subscription boxes!
Art of Dunny Mystery Figurine
Let’s start with the mystery box! It’s a Dunny mystery box so you don’t know which figurine you’ll receive – some of which are rarer than others. I have to be honest and admit that I’m not familiar with this brand and the designs at all but I do like the design of the mystery figurine I received.
Dorbz Marvel 344 Iron Patriot Vinyl Collectable
Another figurine and while my favourite figurines have to be Funko Pops, I do like the style of these too. They’re smaller and less mobile than Funko Pop figurines but they are still just as cute…well almost. The 344 figurine (Iron Patriot) is an exclusive figurine which is one of the reasons I like the My Geek Boxes as sometimes they include special or exclusive items.
Game of Thrones The Hound Figurine
Now onto one of my favourite TV shows, Game of Thrones. The Hound is not my favourite character from the show (that would be Tyrion) but I do like this figurine. It’s quite detailed and unlike any of the other figurines within the box and within my collection. If you are also a GOT fan then you’ll love this figurine and I’m glad that this fandom is still being included in subscription boxes.
Skyrim Limited Edition Coin
Another limited edition item and it’s from a fandom I’m not familiar with, Skyrim. As I’m not familiar with it at all, I don’t know the relevance of this item or the design but it seems like a video game series that I’d love so I am going to check it out.
Call Of Duty Athletic Socks
Next up is a second wearable item and it’s very unusual as I’ve never received anything ‘athletic’ from the My Geek Box subscription boxes. I do like the Call Of Duty video games series, which I have played a few times over the years, I just personally wouldn’t wear these.
Yeti T-Shirt
Last but not least is my favourite item from the box and it’s the t-shirt. There’s a t-shirt within each box and I always love them. I think this t-shirt design is one of my favourite designs from the past few months. The design is simple, I love the grey t-shirt and I like the fit as well.
