Anyone who owns a cat knows they rule the home and their owners are their willing servants! We also love to treat our furbabies, and the MyMeow box is designed to give you beloved kitty a bunch of goodies every single month.
When you subscribe you give your cat’s age and things such as preferences and allergies so your treats will always be tailored to your cat.
This is the third box I’ve received, and it’s a really cool theme: Fish and Chips! You might be able to see a few little hints about what’s inside there too.
Every box comes with a really nice magazine which is really worth keeping. It contains a great deal of good information as well as some really fun items, including puzzles, cat behavioural articles, and even a recipe for making your own cat goodies!
Speaking of goodies, here are the treats.
Webbox Yum-e-Yums, Webbox Lick-e-Lix and HiLife Natural Chicken Breast Treats
MyMeow treats are always on the side of natural rather than cereal-filled treats. Many cats (including mine!) really love cheese, and these little chewy pieces are really good for rewards or just for fun. The Lick-e-Lix are a soft sachet and can be a topping for other food , or you could even use them to disguise medication. As for the HiLife treats, these are essentially dried chicken breast, which may not sound nice to us, but let me tell you, it’s the perfect kitty treat!
My cat certainly thought so! She spent an awful lot of time chewing her way though the bag to get to them.
Catato Chips Noisy Toy, Catnip Plush Toy, and Moving Fish Toy.
Toys are also really useful to keep your cat stimulated, especially if they’re not big on outdoors. You can swap them out over the days so they don’t get bored. The chip toy has a little crinkly layer inside so when its chewed it makes a sound.
The plush is catnip scented, which most cats will adore and feel super playful. And I know that beer isn’t necessarily part of the fish & chips experience, but this one is especially for kitty! As for that fish, not only does it look very lifelike, but you open the zip on its belly to find a switch. When turned on, it flips and flops around like a real fish, stops, and then is restarted by touch, so as soon as kitty gets curious and gives it a nudge, it starts the movement again.
As you can see, my cat decided to sneak up on it.
Don’t forget, there’s also a cardboard scratch pad in every box too, so your furbaby has somewhere to sharpen its claws, and it can be recycled once it’s been sufficiently shredded!
