Myvitamins Snackbox is a monthly subscription box from the popular online retailer of health products of the same name, Myvitamins. The snackbox is much more than a box of snacks though! Inside, you’ll find a variety of health-related products from pre and post-workout treats, high protein foods, supplements, vitamins, whole foods and much more. It’s a great way to try out some new products and Myvitamins state that the contents are always worth around £35, so that’s a real bargain as the monthly subscription fee starts as low as £12.99 per month, depending on what plan you go for.
November’s Myvitaims Snackbox arrived last week, so let’s take a closer look at what I found inside:-
Myvitamins Vitamin B Complex – 90 tablets
A good quality Vitamin B Complex supplement is essential to make sure that you’re getting your daily requirements and these tablets have you covered for Vitamin B6 and Vitamin B12, as well as Thiamin, Riboflavin, Niacin, Folic Acid, Biotin and Pantothenic Acid. An excellent all-rounder and these tablets are suitable for vegetarians.
Myvitamins D3 – 30 Softgels
During the darker Winter months, it’s very useful to take a Vitamin D3 supplement to keep your levels topped up as Vitamin D is needed to maintain normal blood calcium levels, as well as for the healthy maintenance of bones and muscle function. These small softgels are one-a-day so super easy to add to your morning routine.
Myvitamins Kelp – 30 capsules
As well as the popular, well-known vitamins, Myvitamins also stocks an extensive range of other supplements and superfoods, so I was pleased to see a bottle of Kelp capsules included with the traditional vitamins above. Kelp is packed full of essential vitamins, minerals and antioxidants, so these are a great way to give your health a boost by taking one of these capsules once a day. Suitable for vegetarians.
Nakd Bars – 1 x Banana Crunch & 1 x Cashew Cookie
I LOVE Nakd bars and these are two of my favourite flavours – yay! They are full of good stuff and the fruit and nut ingredients are cold-pressed raw, so that you don’t lose any of the vitamins during the baking/cooking process. They’re gluten, dairy, and wheat free, making them suitable for vegans and they are so damn tasty!
TrueStart Hero Bar – Coffee & Peanut
This health bar features a scoop of TrueStart Coffee to give you a boost and is made from 100% natural ingredients. There’s also peanut butter for added protein so this is a really good choice as a pre or post-workout snack. It’s delicious too! Gluten-free and suitable for vegans.
Deliciously Ella Energy Ball – Coconut & Oat
I’m a huge fan of Deliciously Ella and I love her plant-based protein snacks. These Energy Balls are super yummy! Made from all-natural ingredients, they are gluten, dairy and refined sugar-free and are cold-pressed raw like the Nakd bars above. A very enjoyable and satisfying healthy snack.
Myprotein Protein Hot Mocha
All of the protein shakes and powders that I’ve tried in the past has all been for cold drinks, so it was interesting to discover this one from Myprotein which has been specially formulated to be enjoyed hot. I tried it out this morning and it’s amazing! It tasted just like a Hot Mocha and was the perfect drink to warm me up! Packed full of 15g protein per serving, this is a tasty new way to get more protein into your diet.
Pure Bite Popped Rice Clusters – Blueberry & Cranberry
These cute mini rice clusters are a yummy new snack from Pure Bite and contain only 80 calories per bag. Gluten-free, dairy-free, preservative-free, high in protein and high in fibre, they are a fab crunchy snack option for those looking for something healthier to nibble on.
