nomakenolife is a monthly subscription box of Japanese cosmetics and beauty products. Japanese women take their skincare very seriously, and their beauty products are superb quality. They are also very big on products which contain natural ingredients, including collagen, and avoiding harsh chemicals. Here are the basics:They have one-, three-, six-, and 12-month subscriptions costing from $29.99 (around £22) for one month (longer subscriptions are cheaper). Shipping is free. The shipping box is too big to go through the door, but there are plenty of goodies inside! This Mermaid Brush is very cute indeed! These brushes have been all over social media recently, so it’s lovely to have one included in this box! This is a popular brand in Japan, and this Country and Stream Facial Oil Pack is a moisturizing face pack which contains a sugar scrub. You massage it in, leave for a few minutes, then rinse off. This is a kawaii beauty item, a Rilakkuma Eyelash Curler. It’s small and compact, great for traveling, and has a replacement rubber pad included. This is a very generous pack of Rice Mask Packs containing ten masks! These masks contain rice oils, for smoothing and moisturizing the skin. Finally, this Angelite U Mascara ties in lastly with last month’s eyeliner. This black mascara features a special s-shaped brush, to help reach the corners of the eyes.My favourite item this month is of course the masks! I love sheet masks, and having a pack of ten is fantastic. The face oil mask will also be very nice to use, especially after the summer sun drying out my skin. The mascara is perfectly timed as I’ve nearly run out!The eyelash curler is certainly cute and compact, but I’m fortunate to have eyelashes that curl on their own, but I know just who will appreciate this!I’m really happy to have a mermaid brush, as I’ve been admiring them for ages, though there was also a rainbow version that I would have liked to have. But never mind, this bronze one is still lovely. These items are often Japan exclusive, so a full price breakdown is difficult or impossible. I did find the rice masks on a site that ships to the UK for $19.90, so that’s a pretty good deal! Rice masks seems to get excellent reviews online too.
