This month’s nomakenolife box of beauty and cosmetic items from Japan and Korea is all about getting ready for a Glitter & Glow Night!
You can read about the items in the box in the menu booklet, as well as current beauty trends and treatments.
The menu features two items this month, Dodo Diamond Crush Mascara and Dodo Diamond Crush Palette. The glitter eyeshadow palette features three separate colours, with added pearl and glitter, with plenty of pigmentation, which gives a marvellous sparkle to your look. They can be used alone, in combination, or even over other colours for extra dazzle. The mascara is also dual use, either to add sparkle by itself or you can add it as an extra layer.
Also included is an adorable Sanrio pill case, with eight little sections each decorated with Sanrio characters. Of course you don’t have to use it for pills, it would also work well for little items such as nail crystals, eyelashes, or even earrings.
There’s more glitter with the Glitter Freckle Stickers. You place the patch over your nose and cheeks to transfer the tiny shiny hearts to your face, great for an extra cute look or dressing up. The URUYOI Eye Cream is a terrific product designed to be used at night to nourish and moisturise the delicate skin around the eyes.
There’s also a mystery item; I have a Dodo Double Crayon Eyeshadow. This is quite a clever product, eyeshadow in a fat crayon that has two sides, one pink and one shimmery, so you can easily blend the two or just use one side only.
Finally, three masks this month. THE CURE Essence Mask Collagen has a collagen-rich formula that is designed to be super hydrating, plus there’s plenty of essence to massage in afterwards. The Juicy Ghost Point Pack is a cute little nod to Halloween (it is October after all!). These are a set of ten smaller patches in a resealable package, infused with hyaluronic acid so you can target areas that need extra moisture treatment. The MJCARE Essence Sheet Mask Acerola contains essence of acerola, a fruit known for its high levels of Vitamin C. This is great for nourishing skin, and can be especially good for oily or problem skin.
