New stationary is always a lovely treat, and Papergang is a great way to increase your stash of lovely paper and stationery items! Papergang works with a different artist each month to produce a range of items featuring their work. A monthly subscription costs £10.95 + 2.95 p+p.
The box is flat enough to go through the mailbox, and the lovely patterned sleeve reflects the design on this month’s stationery items.
Everything is wrapped nicely in tissue paper, like opening a present.
Under the paper!
There’s a list of RRPs in the menu booklet.
Also an interview with this month’s featured artist.
Here are three postcards, showing famous landmarks. They have very cute additions by the illustrator.
There’s also the calendar sheet on the top right.
This is an A5 travel journal. It’s a sort of olive green colour, with a picture of a compass on the front, and has an elastic band around it to hold it together.
These are the inside pages, one lined for writing, and the other blank. It’s set out as a travel journal, with date, location, and lots of space to write a journal entry. You can see the cute little rucksack illustration in the bottom corner too.
These Aeroplane Paperclips are really cute! There are actually a lot more than 5 in the box, around twelve I think.
Finally, a sheet of wrapping paper. This has the pattern on the box sleeve, and is lovely and bright and great quality. It’s also recycled, which is fantastic.
This is a nice collection of items. The standout item by far is the travel journal. I do have a little quibble with it, in that there’s no ribbon to mark your place. I think that would have finished it off perfectly, so it’s a bit of a shame there isn’t one. But never mind, it’s really well laid out, nice quality paper, and does exactly what it says on the tin!
The plane paperclips are really lovely, though I can’t remember the last time I actually used a paperclip! I’m sure I’ll find a use for them though.
The postcards are fun, and would look great casually stuck on the fridge door unless, of course, you want to send them!
Papergang always has great quality wrapping paper, and this design is just wonderful. In fact, the only thing I’m slightly missing from this box is more of that pattern! I love all the tiny little pictures and the vibrant colour, and I wish it could have been used for more of the items, perhaps the cover of the journal.
But that’s a small thing. Overall, this is really thoughtful, great value, and wonderful design.
