Pink Parcel is a subscription box that delivers a package of femcare and beauty treats direct to your door every month. Their emphasis is on making women feel their best during their ‘time of the month’, which is something that I can totally get behind! I would have loved to have had a box like this available when I was a teenager, as it would have helped to reduce some of the stress and stigma around periods, so it’s great that women of all menstruating ages can now enjoy a monthly treat like Pink Parcel.
Pink Parcel is delivered in a long rectangular box that’s slightly too big to fit through my letterbox to give you an idea of the size. All of the products inside are sectioned off into their own boxed compartments, with headers such as ‘For You’, ‘For Later’, ‘For Now’ and ‘For Night’, which makes it quite fun to open up and explore.
When you sign up to Pink Parcel, you can choose from a range of femcare options to suit your personal needs and they stock all of the major brands, so you need not worry about quality or running out of your preferred essentials. They also ship out boxes throughout the month, so you can enter the dates closest to your period so it arrives at the right time. You can choose between tampons, pads, or a mix of both, and I received the latter to show you.
Inside, I found 12 Tampax tampons, 8 Always pads, 5 Always Night pads & 5 Always panty liners.
In addition to your femcare products, you’ll also receive a surprise selection of curated beauty and lifestyle products, and I was pleased to see these two delicious treats inside the October box! The bar of organic and dairy-free Raw Halo Artisan Chocolate was just what I needed after a long day and came in a scrumptious Mylk & Pink Himalayan Salt flavour, and the Boost Green Tea sample was also delicious.
Moving onto the beauty products, I received a travel size of Urban Veda Daily Reviving Facial Wash (20ml). I’m a big fan of this cruelty-free and natural brand that uses Ayurvedic herbs and formulas, so I’m looking forward to trying this out.
The next product that I pulled out of the box was this MUA Luxe Whipped Velvet Blush (RRP £3) in the shade Hedonic, a pretty light rosy pink. It has a lovely texture that feels lightweight and it’s super easy to build up to the desired look that you’re after.
The Cougar Mineral Eyeshadow (1g) was another fab makeup find in this month’s box and I received a lovely neutral shade that looks great as an all over the lid base colour. The mineral pigments are soft and silky, plus it’s suitable for sensitive eyes thanks to its irritant-free, natural formula.
My favourite makeup product was, of course, this ridiculously cute lipstick with a pug illustration from Trifle Cosmetics (RRP £15). How adorable is that?! Packaging aside, the lipstick is high-quality and is infused with Cocoa Butter to keep your lips plumped, glossy and hydrated. I received a beautiful neutral pink shade which is perfect for everyday wear.
Lastly, I found a Blank Canvas Cosmetics F01 Brush (RRP £14.81) which can be used to apply liquid and powder foundations and bronzers. It has a fluffy and dense head, with soft bristles and buffs product into the skin beautifully for a flawless finish. Brilliant!
I am so impressed with my first Pink Parcel and can’t wait to see what they have in store next month!
