The people at My Purrfect Gift Box may be the answer to the age old question- What do you buy someone who has everything? Well, as long as they are a cat person, the My Purrfect Gift Box. With four different options for them and their cat, you can’t go wrong. Here were the paw-some picks that came in July’s box…
The theme was ‘A Day in the Park’ which is a really nice Summer-y theme. Plus, everything is curated around that which just adds to the experience of getting My Purrfect Gift Box in the mail.
Starting with, what every picnic needs; a cheeseboard and butter spreader. I can see both of these getting a lot of use in my house where we’re all cheese-fiends. But even if you weren’t, I think this would be kind of cute to keep your cat food dish on for easy clean up. And who doesn’t spread butter? Both are super sturdy and nicely made.
Next was these two plastic champagne flutes with meow up the sides. Again, I was impressed with the quality when I accidentally dropped one on tile and it bounced away unscathed. Especially with the small dip at the side that fits a finger, I can see these as invaluable to the clumsy or those that have already started early on the champagne!
What picnic is worth going to without jam and chutney? Although I will say, these are incredibly small pots. You’re looking at one or two servings tops which is a shame as they were both delicious. I would’ve liked a bigger size, but if your picnic is just two or three people, you could scrape by.
What day in the park is complete without paper napkins to wipe up spills and serve as cake plates. Normally I’d be reaching in the back of cupboards and finding only the christmas themed ones, but these are not only adorable- but perfect for any occasion. Maybe it’s the black cat and the orange pops of colour, but I’m thinking halloween!
And finally, for the cat in your life…
My cat is the definition of a fussy eater so imagine my surprise when he scarfed down this Lily’s Kitchen Succulent Chicken Dinner without the usual culinary competition show host judgement. I’m not sure Felix is going to be up to his standards after this.
And lastly, two catnip toys that were promptly stolen and slobbered all over, as evidenced in this video. He didn’t let them go for a good hour, then dozed away as I gave him a good brush. I’ve never really bothered with catnip before but I definitely need to get some more if it makes him so happy!
