It’s no secret that I’m a die-hard Francophile and I especially love anything Parisian. There’s just something so wonderfully chic and sophisticated about French culture in general, from their fine wines and food, to their incredible sense of style, so I was very excited to try out the Quejadore box.
Quejadore is a French lifestyle box aimed at contemporary women who are looking for a box that includes a bit of everything. Their boxes are sent bi-monthly and they include an interesting mix of organic and natural beauty products, lifestyle, gadgets, fashion accessories and cultural/wellbeing products which really appeals to me.
I received the latest March/April edition of the Quejadore box last week, and it arrived via courier to the UK, shipped directly from France. The box is larger than a standard beauty box, and the front of it was illustrated with a cool image of a woman relaxing in a hammock surrounded by plants and dreamcatchers. The illustration was plain so that you can colour it in yourself if you wanted to, which I thought was a neat idea as I love the whole adult colouring trend at the moment.
Everything inside the box was carefully wrapped in tissue paper and there was lots of cushioning to protect the items during transit. On the top of everything was the Quejadore magazine which details all of the products inside – it’s all in French so it gave me a good excuse to brush up my language skills!
So here’s what I found inside the March/April edition of the Quejadore box, that has a bohemian theme:-Althearah Organic Perfume in Pure White (full size, 30ml, RRP €26)
I was pleased to find an organic perfume from the French brand, Althearah, as I’ve been getting into more natural based perfumes recently. This one’s made from 100% natural ingredients, and that includes 99.7% which are are from organic farming that’s been certified by Eco Cert. The perfume is called ‘Pure White’ and it’s been designed to purify and regenerate the body and the mind. When I opened the bottle, it reminded me a lot of classic aromatherapy blends as I could immediately smell all of the lovely essential oils in the formula, and it does have a very calming and relaxing scent. It’s not as strong as mainstream perfumes, but I still love it because it’s very uplifting with both citrusy and woody notes. A great find – thanks Quejadore!MGC Urban Nails Nail Polish in Romance (full size, RRP €4.90)
The second item that I pulled out of the box was a full sized nail polish from the brand MGC. According to the accompanying magazine, Quejadore have included a range of four different shades in the boxes this time around, and I received the shade called Romance which is a pretty pale pink. I think this would look gorgeous for a classic French manicure!Pas Si Sages Headband (RRP €25)
Moving onto the category of fashion and accessories, I found a cool boho style headband from Pas Si Sages. It’s made from a high quality, faux suede style material and has a gold coloured beaded chain entwined throughout it. The fastening is a fully adjustable black ribbon so that it will fit all head sizes, or you could even wear it as a necklace if you’d prefer. Rose of Bulgaria Soap (RRP €1.80) and Village Candle in Dahlia (RRP €2.60)
Two smaller products that were included were a cute rose shaped and rose fragranced soap made from 100% natural ingredients and a small candle from the brand Village Candle in the Dahlia scent; a fresh floral that’s perfect for lighting during summer.Edition Artemis Mandalas Colouring Book (RRP €4.90)
The last product in this bi-monthly box is a circular shaped adult colouring book that’s filled with beautiful mandala-inspired designs for you to colour in. As I mentioned earlier, I love these and find them particularly useful for when I’m feeling stressed as it helps you to focus on doing just one task, and allows you to explore your creative side at the same time. I know I’ll enjoy using this!
