If you love French beauty and lifestyle boxes, Quejadore is a lovely subscription box to sign up to. Their boxes are bi-monthly and contain a mix of different products from a range of categories such as beauty (skincare/makeup), fashion/accessories, lifestyle and culture, crafts, and organic/eco-friendly. The boxes are very much curated towards young, educated and professional women and are a great treat for yourself if you adore everything French – perfect for all of you fellow Francophiles!
The Quejadore September/October box arrived recently which I was surprised about as they usually come in much later, but regardless, I was excited to see what was inside as I loved the last box so much. This time the theme is ‘Pomme d’Happy’ which translates as ‘Happy Apple’?! I’m not quite sure what that means, but let’s take a look at the products!
A La Claire Fontaine Joli Minois Duo Masque/Exfoliant (full-size, RRP €22)
The first product that I pulled out of the box is a luxury multi-purpose skincare item from the Lyon based brand, A La Claire Fontaine. Their Joli Minois Duo is made from 99.5% natural ingredients and has a creamy/gel-like texture with natural manual scrubby bits. It feels gentle on the skin, but gives it an effective deep clean and polish, helping to remove dull, dead skin cells, which leaves the skin looking and feeling much more brighter and refreshed. You can use this as a quick exfoliating cleanse in the morning, or leave it on as a face mask for an even more refined finish. A great find!
Henry & Henriette Kit Boucles D’Oreilles Pailettes (RRP €6)
Moving onto fashion accessories, I found a small bag containing an earring kit from Henry & Henriette. This unique kit allows you to customise and make your very own pair of earrings using the materials provided. What a neat idea?!
Visual Paris Un Noeud Papillon (RRP €10)
Another fashion accessory comes in the form of a clip-on black bow tie from Visual Paris. This cute bow can be clipped onto shirts or jumpers, or even added to hairbands for a quick and easy Parisian touch. I’m not sure that it’s something that I would wear myself, but it feels like it’s made from high-quality thick cotton, so I’ll be sure to pass this onto my sister who loves accessories like these.
Couleur Caramel Lip Pencil (full-size, RRP €9.99)
The next product that I picked up is my favourite item from the box. It’s an all-natural lip pencil from French brand, Couleur Caramel. It’s made from 100% natural and organic ingredients which is great and the colour that I received is the most beautiful nude, beige-rose shade. I’ve worn it today and had so many compliments about it – another fantastic French discovery!
Eaux Fraiches by Catherine Madani (RRP €9.99)
The last item is a hardback book by Catherine Madani where she has shared her favourite healthy summer drinks recipes. It’s a lovely and well-presented book with gorgeous photography and all of the drinks sound delicious! The book is of course written in French, so this gives me an excuse to brush up on my language skills!
