If you’ve been following my monthly reviews of Roccabox this year (and if you haven’t or you’re new to this site, feel free to click the ‘reviews’ link in that sidebar over there!), you’ll know that they usually team up with a different beauty influencer who curates that month’s contents. This month, however, Roccabox have decided to go all out with an extra special Christmas themed box that they’ve put together for subscribers instead, and it’s really good!
Here’s what I found inside the December Roccabox:-
Roccabox Hello Beautiful Cosmetics Bag (RRP £18)
The first thing that you’ll notice is that there’s a special, one-off cosmetics bag instead of a box this month, which serves as an extra little Christmas present from Roccabox. With the gold slogan of ‘Hello Beautiful’ on the front, this large cotton pouch is a roomy size for storing all of your holiday beauty products in, or you can use it as a clutch or makeup bag – the options are endless! It feels good quality and has been specially made for Roccabox by Westford Mill.
Roccabox Hello Beautiful Pocket Mirror (RRP £4.99)
Another Christmas extra this month is this pink pocket mirror from Roccabox which features the same Hello Beautiful slogan. Cute!
Yes To Tomatoes Detoxifying Charcoal Sheet Mask (RRP £2.99)
Moving onto the contents inside the bag, I found a Yes To Tomatoes Detoxifying Charcoal Sheet Mask. Made from 96% natural ingredients, this mask is formulated with Charcoal and Salicylic Acid to detox and purify the skin which helps to thoroughly clean out congested pores. I love trying out new sheet masks so I can’t wait to give this a go.
Oil’A Nurturing Body Paper (RRP £1.30)
Next up, we have a set of samples from a Monte Carlo based brand called Oil’A and these sound really interesting as I haven’t come across anything like them before. These ‘nurturing body papers’ have a body oil or a body butter pressed into a wipe, making it travel-friendly and easy to use when you’re on holiday or in the gym. The idea behind them is to offer more convenience than a leaky bottle of body oil or a melted tub of body butter, so if you travel a lot, they’re certainly something to look into.
Tanya Burr Cosmetics Cheek Illuminator in Forever Summer (RRP £6.99)
To get that coveted glow at your Christmas parties this year, Roccabox have included a full-size Cheek Illuminator from Tanya Burr in the shade Forever Summer. This creamy twist-up illuminator stick is like a blush and highlighter in one, giving a beautiful pinky glow to the cheekbones which looks so pretty!
Cougar 6 Shades Of Nude Eyeshadow Palette (RRP £13)
For eyes, there’s a beautiful eyeshadow palette from Cougar which comprises of six shimmery shades, all housed together in one large pan. The shadows feel silky smooth and are easy to blend and work with for a quick party-perfect makeup look! Great for slipping into handbags and ideal to take travelling so you don’t need to bring a huge palette.
Bliss Triple Oxygen Instant Energizing Mask (15ml travel size – full-size RRP is £42)
Lastly, I found a travel size of the popular Bliss Triple Oxygen Instant Energizing Mask which I’ve seen a lot of on Instagram. Formulated to give your skin a shot of infused oxygen and glow-boosting Vitamin C, this mask is the ultimate ‘party prep’ to perk up dull Winter complexions. This travel size is also a decent amount to properly try out so I shall be putting it to the test over the festive season!
