This month’s Roccabox is really interesting as it comes presented in a cosmetics bag, rather than the usual box, which helps to represent June’s theme of Summer Holidays. There’s a beautiful selection of Travel Essentials inside, so if you’re getting in the mood to jet off to somewhere hot and sunny, this is the box for you!
Chelsea Prints x Roccabox So Chic Cosmetics Bag (RRP £10)
First though, let’s take a closer look at that bag! This Chelsea Prints cosmetics case has been designed exclusively for Roccabox subscribers this month, so you won’t find it anywhere else. It’s a great size and features a very chic fashionista inspired print on the front of a clear, zip-up PVC bag. Perfect for storing your holiday essentials or taking to the beach!
Tropika Skin Coconut Cleansing Oil (30ml travel size, full size retails for £17.99)
Moving onto the beauty treats inside the bag, the first product that I picked up was this travel size bottle of Tropika Skin Coconut Cleansing Oil. I’m a huge fan of Coconut Oil in general and this Cleansing Oil looks like a fantastic way to remove makeup, daily grime and SPF. Suitable for vegans, this is definitely a travel essential.
Anatomicals Binchotan Charcoal Toothbrush and Case (£4.50)
I always forget to pack my toothbrush when I’m going away, so this one from Anatomicals is going straight into my weekend bag! Featuring Charcoal infused bristles, this toothbrush has a powerful natural deodorizing effect (yay for fresher breath!), and removes more plaque and bacteria that your regular toothbrush. There are a range of different colours that you might receive in your box, and I’m pretty happy with this funky bright green and yellow one.
Zuii Organic Flora Self Tan Foam (30ml travel size, full size retails for £35.95)
I love discovering new organic beauty brands that I haven’t come across before and this Organic Flora Self Tan Foam from the Austrailian brand, Zuii, is right up my street. Featuring a lightweight and super hydrating foam based formula, this self-tanning product gives you a medium golden glow and the bottle is enough for one week’s usage to keep you bronzed and beautiful on your travels.
Temple Spa Peace Be Still Calming Skin Balm (50ml, RRP £6.50)
Whilst Summer is my favourite season of the year, it can be all too easy to get carried away and forget to top up your sunscreen throughout the day. Luckily, help is on hand in the form of this Peace Be Still Calming Skin Balm from Temple Spa. It works wonders at instantly soothing and re-hydrating sunburnt skin, and feels lightweight and non-greasy so you can get on with the rest of your holiday.
Boohoo Highlighter Drops in Nebula (full size, RRP £6)
I wasn’t aware that the popular online fashion retailer, Boohoo, had recently released a range of makeup so I’ve been enjoying having a play with these ultra-pretty Highlighter Drops. You can use them to create a sheer and pretty glow by adding a few drops to your foundation or favourite base, or you can apply them directly to the skin (especially above the cheekbones) and achieve a more dramatic highlighter sheen. One thing’s for sure though – these are certainly very glowy!
Anatomicals Body Cleanser (sample)
As a cheeky extra this month, Roccabox have included a sachet sample of Anatomicals’ Sud The Lot Of You Get Lost Grime Body Cleanser which has an uplifting and zesty fruity scent – yum!
