Rose & Dragon is a brand new luxury loose-leaf tea subscription box and as a fellow tea lover, I was very excited to try it!
The box arrived with three unique blends with flavours that I haven’t tasted before and I loved the variety of what was included, as well as the presentation which was simple but stylish with elegant description cards attached to the teas with mini wooden pegs. There are also meditative quotes and a ‘teatation’ is included to encourage you to slow down and properly savour your tea as you drink it.
All of Rose & Dragon‘s teas are 100% ethically sourced with a transparent and traceable supply chain, and their teas are packaged in 100% plant-based, biodegradable pouches so there’s no plastic used which is great to see.
The cost per box is £15.99 plus £1.99 postage, and you can also add on a pack of tea filters to your monthly subscription box at £3 for a pack of 15 or £5 for a pack of 30.
Here’s what I found inside the September box:-
Forest Focus
Forest Focus is a sublime minty blend of Amazonian Yerba Maté with added functional herbs, aimed at improving cognitive health. It has some delicious sweet and subtle undertones of Caramel and is a very unique flavour that I really enjoyed.
Provence Fields
I adore Green Tea and drink at least 2-3 cups of it a day so I was particularly excited to sample Provence Fields which is described as a sumptuous Lavender infused Green Tea. I always find Lavender to be quite a dominant flavour in tea but here it works incredibly well to balance out the Green Tea for a well-rounded cuppa that’s very soothing to drink.
Magic At Midnight
Saving my favourite for last, Magic At Midnight is a naturally caffeine-free blend which can be enjoyed at any time of day and it’s such a delicious combination of Cocoa, Apple, Rosehip, Hibiscus, Orange, Cornflowers and Safflower. It tastes predominantly like Chocolate Orange which is amazing!
