If you didn’t know, I’m a massive fragrance fan and hoarder, I have to admit that I do own quite a lot of perfume but I’m always wanting to try more but they can be very expensive. In comes Scent & Co to the rescue! Scent & Co is a new subscription service to me and it focuses solely on fragrances.
For £14.95 per month you can receive a 30 day supply (10ml) of a fragrance of your choice which I think is a fantastic idea, especially if the fragrance you want is very expensive or if you aren’t sure whether you’ll like it or not. There are so many premium brands to choose from including: Burberry, Prada, Gucci, Valentino, Tom Ford and many more, the latter is the brand I chose for my first fragrance.
I chose Tom Ford Orchid Soleil which is a premium fragrance that I’ve wanted to try since it was released but it is quite pricy so I’ve always put it off. The fragrance contains notes of bitter orange and pink pepper (top notes), red spider lily and tuberose (middle notes) and vanilla and chestnut cream (base).
The fragrance to me is a very autumnal perfume as it is very musky with quite powdery florals and it is very unique – it’s unlike anything else in my fragrance collection. I think it will be a love it or hate it fragrance but I personally love it. I also love how long it lasts on me which is around 8 hours.
The best thing about this product is the bottle that the fragrance sample comes it as it looks so expensive, sleek and unique. To use, you turn the bottle and the spray will twist up, then you can use it. I think it will be great for travelling as it is such a small size, the samples can be removed/changed and I think it would be far less likely to leak in your bag because of the packaging design. I’m definitely going to keep it in my bag as I always carry fragrance samples with me so this is perfect and it’s a great way of trying an expensive, premium fragrance without having to pay the full price!
