We all know by now how much I love the Secret Scent Boxes as I’ve raved about them for so long! I love how handy the samples are, I like the idea of sampling new fragrances every month and it’s very convenient that it can fit through the letterbox. Additionally, I like the little information cards about each fragrance sample.
Lacoste Pour Femme Elixir
Let’s start with one fragrance I haven’t ever heard of! It was launched this year and it contains the following notes: pink pepper, mandarin, jasmine, gardenia, vetiver, cedar wood, patchouli. It’s a very fresh, floral and feminine fragrance that would be ideal for the spring and summer months. It does remind me of a couple of fragrances I had years ago but I can’t pinpoint the brands.
Calvin Klein Obsession
From a brand new fragrance to a classic from Calvin Klein, Obsession. I’ve tried quite a few fragrances from Calvin Klein but I haven’t tried this one before. It contains the following notes: peach, vanilla, lemon, bergamot, basil, spice, jasmine, sandalwood, oak moss, vanilla, vetiver, amber, musk and incense – so many notes! It is described on the card as an ‘oriental spicy’ perfume which is a very accurate description. I actually really love it!
Elizabeth Arden Green Tea Lavender
Last but not least is my favourite fragrance of the three but to be honest, I really like all of the fragrance samples in the April box, especially the last two I’ve mentioned. It contains the following notes: lemon, orange, chamomile, lavender, tea, magnolia, musk and ambrette. Lavender is one of my favourite fragrances ever so I knew I’d adore this one…and I do. It is such a fresh, floral and spring-like perfume that is me in a bottle. I would definitely consider buying this fragrance in the future.
