I love receiving the Secret Scent Boxes and the April box is no different as it contains two lovely spring-like fragrances. The brands range from DKNY and Ralph Lauren to Lalique, the latter is a brand I’ve never heard of before. As always you will receive three 3ml fragrance samples in each box – they are the perfect trial or travel size.
Lalique Amethyst Eclat
Let’s start with the brand I haven’t heard of before, Lalique. The fragrance contains notes of raspberry, blackcurrant, pear, peony, magnolia, rose, blackberry, violet wood and musk. I’m sadly not a huge fan of this fragrance as it is quite heavy, musky and generic, in my opinion.
Ralph Lauren Beyond Romance
Next up, the Ralph Lauren fragrance which contains notes of bergamot, mandarin, raspberry, Jasmine, lily of the valley, rose, vanilla, white musk and cashmeran. Thankfully I like this option from Ralph Lauren as it is musky but floral and spring-like. It is a little generic, as designer fragrances usually are but I do like it for the spring months.
DKNY Woman Metallic City Edition
Lastly a fragrance from DKNY which contains the following notes: pineapple, bergamot, pink pepper, violet, peony, rose, musk, cedar and vanilla. I love most of the DKNY fragrances I’ve tried and this one is no different. It is very fresh, summery and light which is perfect for the lovely spring weather we’ve been having!
