Secret Scent Box – July 2020

It’s that time again for my review of the Secret Scent Box! As always, each box contains three x 3ml fragrance samples from a range of high end, designer or celebrity brands so there’s something for everyone. The brands in the July 2020 box include: Banana Republic, Cartier and Versace.

Banana Republic Peony and Peppercorn

I’ll start with the brand I don’t think I’d tried before, Banana Republic. The fragrance contains the following notes: pink peppercorn, fresh bergamot, pink peony, rose, musk and cashmere woods. It’s a lovely floral but musky fragrance that I’d definitely wear and recommend; however it isn’t very unique.

Cartier Eau De Concentree

Next up is a Cartier fragrance with notes of coriander, violet, lavender, amber, patchouli and cedar – all my kind of fragrance notes! Unlike the previous fragrance this one, to me, is very unique and different to anything else I currently own. It is floral and sweet but also very musky, rich and almost spicy. I love this fragrance and I will definitely be buying a bottle in the future.

Versace Bright Diamond

Last but not least is a fragrance I tried years ago and loved from Versace. The fragrance contains notes of yuzu, pomegranate, water notes, lotus, peony, magnolia, amber, musk and mahogany. It’s a great spring or summer fragrance as it is light, fresh and floral. I think it is a fragrance that so many people would love!
