I love receiving the Secret Scent Boxes as they’re so handy, especially as the samples are perfect for keeping in my handbag and for travelling. Additionally, the samples are ideal for trialing a new fragrance before potentially buying the full size – that’s why I think this subscription box is so useful!
Katy Perry Killer Queen
The first fragrance is one that I’ve wanted to try for a while, Killer Queen. I love the full size bottle, it looks gorgeous! The fragrance contains the following notes: dark plum, wild berry, bergamot, red velvet flower, jasmine, cashmeres, patchouli and praline. The fragrance is very sweet, maybe too sweet for some but I personally love it. It’s sweet as well as creamy, rich and floral. While it is relatively generic, I really like it especially for spring.
Burberry Brit Sheer
Burberry fragrances have become some of my favourites over the past few years and I’ve loved all of the Burberry samples I’ve received from the Secret Scent Boxes. It contains the following notes: lychee, yuzu, pineapple, mandarin, peony, pear, peach blossom, musk and white woods. This is another amazing spring fragrance as it’s fruity and sweet but in a fresh, clean and sophisticated way.
Dolce and Gabbana The Only One 2
Lastly, a fragrance I haven’t heard of before! It contains the following notes: red berries, pear, freesia, violet, rose, coffee, tonic bean and patchouli. I LOVE all three of the fragrance samples within this box (it’s probably my favourite box of the year so far). This last fragrance is the most unique, I haven’t tried anything quite like it as it’s very musky, rich and very autumnal.
