Perfume is a very personal thing, and it can be both difficult and expensive figuring out what kind you like. If you enjoy discovering and wearing scent, the Secret Scent Box is the terrific way to try out a huge range of different perfumes. Every month you get three 5ml bottles though the letterbox, plus guidance notes.
Brands are always premium, and to try this month we have scents from Michael Kors, Ted Baker, and Cartier.
The spray bottles are especially useful for carrying around with you, and the size is perfect for a month’s supply.
The box itself is very compact and will fit though the letterbox without difficulty.
There are also cards included giving you information about the scent profile of each perfume. Not only is this interesting to know, it’s also useful for getting an idea of your scent preferences.
Cartier Carat
As the notes suggest this is heavy on the floral scents. The hyacinth and lily definitely come to the fore here, and it’s is reminiscent of a bouquet, and I would say this is a great scent for fresh spring days. If you’re a fan of flower perfumes, this one is certainly a winner!
Ted Baker X20 for Women
This perfume is definitely on the fruity side, though the citrus is the first impression. You could wear this comfortably from day to night, and while it doesn’t have the best longevity, the scent layers are interesting.
Michael Kors Mystique Shimme
This was only released last year and is my favourite by far of the three! It’s very spicy indeed, and the amber really comes thorough after a while. There’s lovely warm complexity, and I really enjoyed the black pepper at the top of the scent. I would say this is definitely more of a nighttime scent, and probably more suited to the winter months. It is also the closest to being unisex, and I think this would be a great fragrance to smell on a man as well.
