I’m always looking for new and interesting subscription boxes and one that has caught my eye is Secret Scent Box. It’s a UK based fragrance sample subscription box. There are three options to choose from including the womens scent box, mens scent box and the gift secret scent box.
I have the March womens secret scent box which contains three 3ml fragrance samples which should last for 30 days. They are 100% authentic designer or brand name fragrances. You also receive a note card for each fragrance describing the notes. Within the March box I received: Burberry Brit, Stella McCartney Peony and DKNY Delicious Night.
The Burberry Brit fragrance contains notes of green almond, lemongrass, pear, lime, sugar, peony, amber, vanilla and mahogany. It’s a musky, rich and deep fragrance with the vanilla, almond and floral notes being the most prominent. It’s a lovely musky evening fragrance but as it’s an eau de toilette, the longevity isn’t fantastic. Out of the three, it’s my least favourite but that’s just my opinion.
Secondly is Stella McCartney fragrance which contains the following notes: mandarin orange, freesia, lotus, geranium, pink peony, pepper, amber, cedar and patchouli. The fragrance is gorgeous, it’s musky but floral and sweet due to the citrus notes. The bottle is gorgeous too and I would definitely consider purchasing the full size fragrance in the future.
Lastly, the DKNY fragrance which contains notes of pomelo, blackberry, ginger, orchid, jasmine, iris, amber, patchouli and vetiver. This fragrance includes some of my favourite fragrance notes! It is a very sweet and very floral fragrance that I adore. It’s also rich and spring-like. I might have to purchase the full size fragrance soon.
